Why the name Pilot's Peak? When the owner, a pilot, gazed out of the window of this home for the first time, he wasn't looking at the Village ... Instead, he noticed the down-valley views and lower Sherwin mountain crests. "All I could think of was all those years flying over the snowy Alps & Rockies; low-levels down the Owens like my hair was on fire; flying up the Sierra with mountain tops off my wing and hidden lakes below me."

This studio sleeps 4 in the largest studio floor plan available at the Westin. Pilots' Peak features a king bed; a practical, galley kitchen with upgraded fridge with freezer; lounge seating for 5; a queen-sized sleeper sofa; flat-screen TV; and an over-sized bathroom with shower/tub combo.

We make work easy from this studio with shared hotel wifi. There are also USB's and outlets at bedsides and tabletops. The dining table makes a great workspace.

The Village Monache is the best accommodation in Mammoth Lakes with its prime location, just across the street from the Village restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. It is a short walk to the gondola which will take you to the slopes of Mammoth Mountain, Canyon lodge. Monache Resort is was first opened in 2008 and is undergoing a renovation this year, 2021.

Amenities in the Monache include: full 24-hour gym with locker room, year-round heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, BBQ area, ski rentals onsite, coin-operated laundry facilities, ski locker, also secured free underground parking. The Monache also offers in-house dining at the lovely Whitebark restaurant.

Enjoy the Village, mountain and valley views, dine at White Bark or just relax by the fireplace in your suite with a glass of wine watching the snow fall on the pines.

In the summer the bike shuttle and trolley are steps away and the Village offers exciting events, wine tastings, concerts, restaurants and shopping. Watch movies under the stars and roast marshmallows in the fire pit. Lots of games are scattered throughout the Village square. There is something for adults and kids.
