Excellent all round. Room was pleasant with very comfortable bed. Had evening meal and breakfast both of which were very good. Large open space nearby for dog walking. Staff very pleasant. Would recommend without hesitation.

This is my personal opion. Always an excellent stay here. Staff are so friendly. Rooms, and i have stayed in every one of the 6 rooms, are superb. Food is fantastic!!

Great for an overnight stop

Stopped here en route to Italy by car. Lovely location, very peaceful. Very pleasant and warm welcome, we were shown us up to our room.Excellent room with all facilities, bed very comfortable. Very good meal, drinks reasonably priced. Good breakfast, however service a little slow. Would definitely come back.

Lovely rooms, very friendly staff. Great breakfast, no cereals or cold buffet. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing. After reading previous mixed reviews. Over priced 2 dishes were inedible. Unfortunately the food is no where near as good as it used to be.

Highly recommend

The Tickled Trout & all the staff provide an amazing place to stay, enjoy & dine. I often stay here for work & always feel warm & welcomed. The food is great as is the service. Rooms are a great size, really comfortable with luxurious extras. Warm in the winter which is always welcomed. Theres also plenty of parking. Theres nothing I don't like about this place & highly recommend it to everyone - don't stay in a charmless chain hotel, stay at the Tuckled Trout for a memorable stay.
