Charming Authentic Waterfront Cottage on a Lake

This is a charming & authentic family-owned cottage located directly on Kulas Lake. You can walk right into the water. A long dock is provided to walk or sit on to view the spectacular sunsets. A canoe, two kayaks and various water toys are available for your use. You can spend a day using the kayaks or canoe paddling through five interlocking lakes taking a packed lunch while seeing other gorgeous lakes with their own scenic views. Reviews: July 5, 2023. It was quiet and private giving us the tranquility we needed following a busy work week. This rustic cottage is equipped with everything you need and more including water crafts and board games for those quiet evenings. The sunsets are breathtaking making the perfect romantic setting. Right on the water! Overall we had a wonderful stay. A beautiful property right on a quiet lake. If there is no one staying at the cabin next to you (half of our stay), it is so peaceful and quiet. Charming, cosy cottage

We rent a cottage every Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to enjoy the fall colours. This cottage is located in a beautiful, hilly area with beautiful vistas and the changing leaves were fabulous! We chose this cottage because of its cosy, rustic appeal, but it also had all the amenities we needed. There's a great view of the lake. Sitting by the woodstove on the cool evenings was so comfy. It's becoming hard to find 'real' cottages like this nowadays as so many of them have been modernized to look like city apartments. This one was absolutely charming!

Great location but Cottage not well maintained

Lakeside location is wonderful. However the amount of clutter in the cottage made it challenging to keep clean. The deck has a number of holes and screws that are no longer flush. The path to the dock requires shoes and the dock had no ladder to assist in exiting. All the appliances worked well. However the mouse droppings in some of the kitchen drawers put us off using some of the items. The cottage could use a good clean as it appears the renters are the only ones who clean up after their stay and it is difficult to fit in a major clean up. The pictures in the listing are accurate.

Nice Area, Responsive Owner

The cabin is rustic but has everything you need. We did encounter an issue (beyond anyone's control) and the owner was very responsive having sent someone to look into things right away. Waking up in the morning and having your coffee either on the deck or in the screened in porch while listening to the waves and the loons is what it's all about.
