Excellent property situated in the heart of lyon. Walkable to many places as well as easy access to all forms of transport. Check in staff were amazing and shoed us some tours as well as places to dine. When i asked for an additional room the staff were able to accommodate my request and were also avle to out my daughter on same floor as me. The junior suite rm 422 is amazing with magnificent views across place de la republique up to fourviere. We were treated to couples dancing each night for a short time just below us in the square. The breakfast was superb and the service impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again when next in lyon

Would highly recommend

Extremely friendly and helpful check in, very nice bar staff, and room service attendants. Room was spectacular, lots of room, very comfortable bed with black out curtians and gorgeous view. Large bathtub thay my husband and I enjoyed nightly. Breakfast was good, only wished mini bar had wine in it. Great location to shops, cafes and resturants.

Elegance in Lyon

We visited during the Festival of Lights so the city was crowded. The hotel was close enough to the light displays but far enough not to hear the crowds. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The hotel was beautiful. The room was amazing with three balconies! We would come back.

Amazing, loved my stay at the Carlton. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were friendly and very welcoming, special shout out to Lucas. Hope to be back one day. Definitely recommend this property.

The breakfast room service where you hang order and time on your door was late and I had to call to ask what was going on. So if you’re on a schedule that may not be the best option. The room was a bit stuffy when I arrived but there were plenty of windows to open. The overall staff and quality of the food was great. The area had a number of homeless people on the street and there was lots of graffiti which I didn’t expect. The location is definitely right in the middle of things with a large public walkway just in front of the hotel.
