Not the best

When entering the room it had a strong odor of mildew/mold/smoke. There appeared to be a mold stain at the door and in the bathroom. I was awoken to a bug crawling on me in the bed while I was sleeping. Not very clean at all. I understand it’s a small town and not many options but this hotel needs an update!

There was a general manager that was very helpful. The reason why I gave this hotel low star rating was the clean list. The room I went into was dirty. There were diabetic strips left on the floor from the previous person. There were medications that were left under the sink, the bathroom did not look like it had been swept or cleaned properly. The mirrors had fingerprints and smudges on them. The pillows were just thrown on the bed. They did not look clean at all. There were several holes in the wall, the carpet was coming undone and ripped on several corners. The showerhead was broken, it just looked like a rundown room that was not cared for at all There were cobwebs and dust all over the AC unit which made me feel very stuffy and sick after just a day of being there. The area was nice and it was generally very quiet.

Our stay was short lived. We were unhappy with the quality of cleanliness in the bathroom. There were dirty wash clothes still in the shower and hair and dirt all over the floor and shower. The room didn’t feel clean at all.

You get what you pay for.

The hotel was having computer issues and literally could not issue a key. Had to call the desk if you wanted to reenter your room, so they could unlock it with a key The pool is in very poor repair, and offered no towels. The hotel overall is in need of updates, but the price was reflective. The lady and gentleman at the desk were nice and did try to fix the key situation to no avail.

We will never stay at this Quality Inn again. The room was dirty, the bedding had more stains than should be possible, lamps not working, A/C sounded like it was on its last leg which made it difficult to fall asleep, the microwave and refrigerator were unclean, the pool was so unkept we wouldn't permit our children to swim in it. The front desk associate, while not necessarily friendly, was accommodating when we asked for clean bedding and needed another key, and the adjacent Alexander's restaurant staff was top tier. Unfortunately, they are not enough for us to consider booking this location again. To top things off, after departure, we were called and accused of stealing pillows...yes, (insert profanity) motel pillows. I was extremely irritated but also wanted to laugh at the accusation. The audacity! Please heed this warning: Stay far away from this place! If we had truly read the reviews before staying there, we would have known what to expect: garbage.

unfortunately the best part about my stay was being able to check in early. the room might’ve been cleaned but with how stained everything was, i wouldn’t know. the bed sheet had burn holes in it. we ended up going to walmart to purchase blankets to sleep on top of and with. the pool was open but it wasn’t clean at all. we went to take a look before getting our daughters hopes up and saw the people that were swimming in it were kicking up dirt and things that were in the pool.
