Sleeps 8, with 4 king beds ( 2 can be configured with 2 twin beds ) across 4 bedrooms, so everyone will have a cozy place to rest. There is a heated swimming pool, table tennis, and a private garden to play pétanque or just while away the days in the idyllic peace and quiet. You can sit in the shade of the walnut tree or soak up the sun on the generous deck around your private pool where there ia an air of calmness. The cool and spacious interior, with great care taken to ensure your continued comfort. In the evening you can eat under the stars under a wisteria laden pergola and test your culinary skills on the large chefs barbecue.

We stayed at Maison Tranquille this August with our family and some friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed bbqs together in the evenings, the kids had a fantastic time in the pool and with all the games provided and we had everything we needed to relax and unwind. A short drive from Cognac, we enjoyed walking in the vineyards outside the house and also sampled some of the restaurants and amenities in Cognac, renting boats for a river trip, much to the delight of the kids. Charlie and Leslie were wonderful hosts and we would recommend this gite to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the area.
