Picture perfect home for all ages. All needs were predicted and fulfilled from playpens and blocks to a whole basement filled with games for children and adults. This house could not have been more perfect for our extended family to come together for Thanksgiving. We did not leave except for groceries and 4 days was not enough time to enjoy all the house offered.

The house was beautiful. The older grandkids enjoyed the basement and all of the games and the hot tub was great for all expecially the older adults. Hopefully we can enjoy this home again soon.

Lookout Lake

Kristen was great. We spent 10 days enjoying every minute. The basement was amazing. Pool table, air hockey, poker table, gaming area, and 2nd area to relax and watch movies. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven. Kayaks, fishing, and swimming by day, family games by night Perfect!!!

Everything You Could Want

We stayed here when my Raleigh-based tennis team made the state tournament and it was exactly what we were looking for: generous and well-appointed accommodations, lots of spots to hang out and socialize, beautiful views, water recreation, etc. We really couldn't have asked for more. As soon as we checked in, I was being congratulated by my friends for finding it. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful quiet getaway in the lake!

The property was absolutely amazing- especially the fully equipped game room, hot tub, plenty of kayaks and tubes, the great floating dock and Sonos sound system. It was a perfect place for a quiet week with two families with teens/tweens. We had an expected and amazing experience when we got to see the cows across the river go for a swim! The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had about the property. We ate in every night and the kitchen had all the necessities and then some. Would definitely come back! Thank you!

Simply Amazing!!

My family stayed at this beautiful home for six nights and we didn’t want to leave! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, playing in the awesome game room, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and just relaxing on the patio. The host is fantastic. Super responsive and has thought of everything we could ask for: plenty of towels, the most comfortable beds, plenty of electrical outlets to charge our devices (no moving furniture to get to them, like most places. It’s the little things ;-), and so much more. The floating mat was a perfect way to easily get out to their floating dock. And, the quiet lake was just wonderful for relaxing (no having to worry about boats speeding by). We arranged for a Publix grocery delivery to arrive when we checked in and stopped into the Dollar General right down the road for whatever else we needed. The kids loved it; the adults loved it. We’re so grateful to the hosts for opening their home and sharing their little piece of paradise with us. Next time we go to NC, this home will definitely be our first choice!

Relaxing Location

This house has everything you need! The game room was a hit for everyone on our trip. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. We took our pontoon boat and it stayed in the water for our entire trip- the fluctuating water levels didn’t effect us keeping it at the dock. Walmart within 13 miles and Dollar General within 6 miles. We would definitely stay again!

Family Time at the Lake

The lake house was perfect for our family. Everyone had plenty of space. The game room in the basement was enjoyable for the evenings once the sun went down. We brought the boat for fishing, I loved the kayaks and the swim mat. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. Our family dinners on the screened in porch was enjoyable. The location is perfect to get away from a crowd but close enough for convenient stores. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home. All of our grown kids gave it a 5 star also!

What an Amazing House and Perfect Location!!

We had an amazing time at this rental! Lots of space, the game room basement was perfect! Jaccuzi was sooo nice. But the absolute best tops was the location on the lake. The dock is at the end of the cove with only one neighbor on one side and none across way so it’s like having your own privet cove. My sons caught tons of big fish right off the dock. The kayaks were so much fun! Ooo and beds were super comfy too! 5 stars all around!

Long weekend trip

Photos do not do this house justice! Gorgeous views. House was very clean! We had rainy, cold weather during our stay which was a bummer because it limited the outdoor activities we could do, but we still had a blast because this house has PLENTY to keep you entertained! Enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Awesome lake house!

My buddies and I stayed here for a bachelor weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The lake view, the game room, the big porch, the fire pit: it was all perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and Tons of Fun

We absolutely loved our stay! The kids spent hours on the lake kayaking, swimming and playing on that giant yellow floaty! Us parents enjoyed quiet time on the back porch.. family time downstairs... it's very convenient to lots of area things to do.. highly recommend for anyone looking for lots of fun but also lots of time to just relax and be together as well!

Family Get Away

We enjoyed our time away . The house was amazing ! I think my grandkids enjoyed the game room the most . We played air hockey , pool and the huge tv . My grandsons had it all worked out that they got the game room to set the Play Station up and it didn't disappoint . We loved everything about the house , dock ,swimming and relaxing on the porch listening to the rain .

Amazing Week

We had an amazing week at this lakefront property! The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The game room was “a blast” according to one of my grandsons. They didn’t know what to play first! We also enjoyed the kayaks, water mat, and fishing from the dock. So many amenities! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and then some. We thought the full size bed was too soft for two adults to sleep on comfortably but there were many other sleeping options. We truly enjoyed our stay!
