Great location and view. The river access is fabulous. Plenty of games and things to do. The general store is a short walking distance. Plenty of cooking utensils to prepare meals. Absolutely recommend this place.

The cabin was super clean, AC worked good and the setups in the kitchen especially were great clean sheets and towels, very appealing and stocked cabin. Would have enjoyed it more if there was a tv. Oh, the ants in the kitchen is a problem, on the first night we grilled up a bunch of food to last through or stay, made our plates and set the reminder in a foil covered pan on the counter and within minutes the ants came out of the corner wall and were all over the inside of the pan. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, the scenery was great!

The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay. Everything was as described and did not disappoint. It provided everything that we needed for our weekend and was a great location. The river was a very short walk and the flow was good. It was quiet and the porch was perfect for late night star gazing. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. We hope to return soon.

Great Get Away From It All @ Castell Cabin

We had the BEST time at the Castell Cabin! We got away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoyed the Llano River, fishing, scaling the rocks, spying all sorts of wildlife! Great location near the Llano, Mason, & Fredricksburg triangle! The Castell Cabin has WiFi so we could stream on our devices as needed, all sorts of other amenities, and comfortable beds! Great Get Away!

This is a great house with a beautiful property and the surrounding area is stunning. Castell is a friendly little town with a great store and waterfront. Perfect for a getaway to relax and hang out on the water.

Birthday Success

Suuuuch a no-fuss, perfect river location to celebrate or just get away from the hubbub and enjoy the water. The space is accommodating, comfortable, and has everything needed. The river is so easy to get to and absolutely perfect for a dip or just a nature walk. Love it so much and so glad we could stay here.

Location Location

The location of this cabin was a great surprise on Llano River. Its secluded and steps away from the river in a private setting. The long porch is perfect for relaxing and a great place to look at the stars. The inside is roomy with nice size bedrooms There is no TV nor dishwasher at this cabin but did not dampen our stay. Enchanted Rock is roughly a 30m drive. All in all, a nice place to visit and would definitely stay again.

Perfect base camp for the Castell Grind

Perfect spot to stay while in Castell. Cabin was clean and well appointed, no issues with anything at all. Loved being able to sit out on the deck and star gaze at night. Very quiet and secluded just enough with an easy 20 minute drive to Llano. The only recommendation would be to provide wifi as cell phone service is a bit erratic in Castell. I’d obviously recommend this place as I have already booked it for next year!

Perfect!!

We needed somewhere to stay close to our hunting land, and this cabin was PERFECT for us. It made for a super short drive to the land, and gave my boys a chance to do some fishing within walking distance. We've always loved Castell....so glad to know that this sweet spot is around!
