We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the expansive breakfast buffet. However, we were confused by the two entrances. One was on the corner of a busy intersection, and the other was on the side of the hotel with a separate loading zone.

Great property - But what makes it is the courteous and helpful staff in the hotel and both restaurants. We felt so welcome and the staff made us decide to plan another trip back. Rodrigo in the restaurant was the best!!!! The property is right beside train station, across the street from a very large mall and walking distance to waterfront, aquarium and casino. We are going back to Portugal and we will stay at the Tivoli!!!

This is an exceptional review. We were at the hotel the same night that there was a country-wide total blackout in Portugal. The hotel by no fault of theirs had no electricity, their generators ran out of gas, no A/C, no food, other than the mini bar. Guest manager Sophia walked us to the 13th floor, using her phone as a light. God only knows how many times she did this with other guests. She was lovely. We ended up leaving early in the morning to finally catch a flight. By then the electricity had come back on. The only issue we had was that it would’ve been helpful to scrounge some food in the evening somehow, or offer free breakfast regardless if it was part of the package or not, and to not charge the 4 euros Lisbon expects to get paid- regardless of the circumstances.

Country Power outage.

We were staying at the Tivoli for 3 days coming off a transatlantic cruise. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, . I cannot say enough about the staff and service. The hotel’s breakfast is amazing and the other restaurants in hotel great also. But the most amazing thing was how the staff went above and beyond during the power outage that affected all of Spain and Portugal yesterday. They remained calm and helpful and served us whatever cold food they could find before it turned dark. We did have to climb 13 flights of stairs and pack in the dark with flash light before power was restored at 11:30 pm. The staff stayed overnight and still served the most amazing breakfast again this morning. All with smiles on their faces.!Wonderful hotel wonderful city and people!❤️❤️

Hotel staff was really nice and the location is convenient for public transportation. Upgraded to a water view room which was not worth the upgrade.

Great choice !

Great location. Wonderful. Views of waterfront and bridge. Breakfast was also excellent - would stay there again without hesitation. Spacious rooms compared with those in downtown areas.

Bathroom sink was clogged and took a long time to drain. The shower temperature fluctuated a lot. When the room was cleaned after the first night, we were only given one towel, which we had to share. We didn't notice there was only one towel until it was time to get ready and we had to leave for the airport.

The hotel is located in a great place, within walking distance of a shopping mall. However, the room I had lacked a bathroom fan, and there was a door between two rooms, it is not soundproofed at all.
