Fantastic apartment located in an elegant neighborhood and prestigious building, fully renovated, refined three-bedroom, tastefully decorated, is a few meters from the Gulbenkian Foundation. Perfect for families or couples looking for comfort, elegance, location and plenty of space. You will be in the center of Lisbon, in a quiet and safe residential area with a wide range of restaurants, cafés and markets around. Many public transport options for your commute.
 
The space
This fantastic apartment is located in the completely renovated República 37 building, situated on Avenida Novas, having won three categories of the National Urban Rehabilitation Prize: Residential Project, Work in Lisbon and Structural Rehabilitation. Project by the renowned architect Francisco Valsassina. On the ground floor of the building there is an excellent café for breakfast and light meals, as well as a fine dining restaurant.

This is a very comfortable, well designed & spacious apartment. We were in Lisbon for a family event over 5 days and liked being out of the tourist area, but in convenient location. We were able to walk to many events/activities. The apartment was also a nice place to relax. Great blackout shades in bedrooms.

We loved this apartment! Very large, stylish and was even better than the pictures. We liked the surrounding area. It was quiet, felt very safe and had restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery nearby. My only caution... It includes parking in an underground garage. It is very, very tight. Only use it if you have a small car. There is a lot of street parking and lots nearby.

Comfortable and Convenient

We could not be more pleased with our stay! The flat was wonderfully clean and nicely appointed. We loved the decor and views. Our host was gracious and hospitable and met us upon check-in to ensure we were comfortable. What we liked was the fact that the flat is centrally located. Though we had a car, we did not use it. Outside was a bus stop and within a short walk's distance is the Saldanha metro station which gets you to the heart of Lisbon. A coffee shop is conveniently located downstairs and just a block away is the Continente grocery. There are many restaurants in the area and along Avenida Republica. We look forward to our next visit to Lisbon and staying at this property again.

Nice, but be sure during check in….

Everything was great other than the AC not working. The host said it would take a while to cool, so we were only there a week, maybe it needs longer??? Nice location, safe area, close to many restaurants and the Continente convenience store.

Excellent holiday in Saldanha

We rented this apartment because we required a three bedroom apartment with a balcony. For sightseeing in central Lisbon it would be necessary to get public transport but there are plenty of buses and a very convenient Metro station which in fact is on the line that runs to the airport. There is a reasonable choice of restaurants and cafes nearby and a well stocked super market within a few minutes walk. The apartment was very well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. It is also very quiet at night for a good nights sleep after a hard days sightseeing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great apartment -convenient location

Nelson & Joaquim we’re very responsive and helpful. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It’s located close to the train and there are a couple of cute cafes just downstairs and around the block. There is also a grocery store within walking distance. The apartment was equipped with everythou need. We had a nice stay.
