The room had a strange odor. The continental breakfast was very limited and offered no coffee. The neighborhood was sketchy and unkempt.

This place is a GEM. It has all the feels of old school motel living. The owners are cute as a button and the place is spotless. I got a kick out of the actual KEY entry - hadn’t seen one of those in awhile! Bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE- shower was good - great TV stations on direct TV. Decent pizza place two blocks away. Great find!!!

Great Experience

Older motel but maintained nicely. The room was big in comparison to newer hotels and the convenience of pulling up to the door for unloading was awesome. The motel grounds were very nice and maintained by a caring hand. We stayed at numerous places on this one trip alone, all newer hotels and my daughter said this was her favorite. I enjoyed the fact it was also the lowest price of the 10 day trip.

Unfortunate this isn’t really a dog friendly place. There are literally zero grassy areas on the property (or around the property) where dogs are allowed so that was a real let down and the pool appeared to be closed although I didn’t ask. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly however there was a mix up with the rooms and he assigned another family our room. Luckily I was outside when they were starting to open the door. The room was clean and beds were comfortable enough. There wasn’t any breakfasts that I could see and when I went to drop off my key, the office was empty besides a dog that came around the desk growling at me, thankfully dogs don’t scare me. It really was a lovely property, but with an unfortunate mix up with the rooms. I wouldn’t have booked it if I would have known there was nowhere for my doggo to play. I won’t book again. Seemed lovely for the elderly guests which seemed to be the mapper from what I could see.

About what you’d expect for a road side motel, definitely not the worst place I’ve ever stayed but the experience was no where near a 3+ Star Hotel…felt old and outdated.

Gross but friendly

The room smelled very strongly of urine. The hotel says they’re dog friendly, but all grass has signs that say “no pets”. Staff was friendly but checkin was very slow.
