Perfect Spot!

We had an amazing time staying here! It was a great location if you want to travel up North or head down South. Beautiful pools to swim and lounge around in. Very beautiful place!

Greeting.

I get that you must control cost. But at the very least there should be a couple waters on arrival. This is usually the very least most VRBO hosts will do, if not more. Parking cost was a bit excessive.

Great location & overall a really nice stay. Close to airport, easy to get uber rides, convenient location,friendly staff & restaurants were quite good. Spa was a bit of a disappointment especially for the price

Good for the Price!

The resort itself was nice and clean. Wonderful pool and spa areas! The food and drinks were excellent. Our room was basic and could have some updating, but was fine for our needs. The interior of building 4 where our room was located also needed some fixing up/updating. However overall, the room and resort was a good deal for the price point. We would stay here again!

Honeymoon getaway

The wife and I were there for 2 weeks. Crystal was absolutely amazing to work with. We ran into issues with weather and late flights, etc and she worked with us on the late arrival. Inside the room we found 2 boogie boards, 2 chairs for the beach, 2 sets of snorkel gear, and 1 cooler. All of which we used which saved us time and money while out there. Crystal was very responsive whenever we needed to message her. The property was awesome. They have 2 restaurants, 2 pools, beach front property (I highly recommend seeing the sunrise every morning since the beach faces to the east), 2 hot tubs which 1 is adults only with a small waterfall. It is conveniently located for almost anything you want to do. 1 he to the north to go to princeville, and 1.5 hr from the west to waimean canyon. 5/5 would book with Crystal again.

Good and Bad

Hotel room was basic - property was beautiful - half of it has been remodeled the other half is very old. We were moved to a room that was a 'partial ocean view' - due to scaffolding in front of the ocean front room we reserved. The problem was a noise every 40-50 seconds that sounded like we were right next to the elevator! It was very disturbing and made the stay very difficult and unpleasant.

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Outrigger Kauai resort unit under stayz. Owner had moved us to another ( better) unit due to renovations, view of pool and open gardens were always fabulous. Unit was comfortable although I thought it could have done with a thorough clean upon arrival. Owner was kind enough to throw in unit clean midway through our stay which was welcomed ( and not asked for). Loved the happy hours and music events in the bar/restaurant. Hotel is perfectly situated for western and eastern road trips. And close to airport which was handy but non intrusive. Overall a great stay for an easy relaxed holiday on the best island in Hawaii

The location of this property was very close to the airport and easy to locate. Very nice property, a little difficult to locate room from lobby due to it raining and had to use elevator to one floor then take stairs down to the floor our room was on. The room was nice a little dated, bed very comfortable, great view a property and ocean. Coffee maker needs to be replaced, it’s small and did not keep coffee warm. It was great that our host arranged for a mid-stay cleaning service. Thank you

January stay

The accommodations were as described. The view from the room was of the pool and the ocean. This room is part of a hotel and as such doesn’t have any utensils, plates, etc so be prepared to purchase those items if you think you will need them. I was going to use the coffee pot but there was an old coffee filter still in it so I wasn’t sure how clean it was. There were also no other filters. If you want to make your own coffee, get everything you’ll need. Make sure to bring any toiletries that you will need. There is a Starbucks located on the resort in the gift shop. There are 3 restaurants on the resort, Naupaka which serves breakfast and dinner, Shutters that serves dinner, and Driftwood Bar & Grill that serves lunch fare. The food was good at all 3. There is a bottle filler located on the 2nd floor of building 3 where the ice and vending machines are. We didn’t find it until more than half way through our stay. The microwave is located in the main building on the 5th floor. If we make it back to Kauai, we would stay here.

Perfect location

The Outrigger Kauai Resort is beautiful. We had a great view of both the ocean and pool area. Crystal left us all the information we needed. The balcony was the perfect spot to watch the sunrise
