Room was very clean located on the second floor. There was no one to check us in. We used a an ipad and created our own keys for the room. There was no one to ask questions to. Got an Ai text a few minutes after checking in but stopped responding after a couple minutes. No coffee in room which was the biggest problem because i need my morning coffee. Outdoors seating was beautiful with the firepit and decorations. Dinner/ bar was busy in the evening and drinks were made well. Another negative was no spa or gym which i definitely wanted to use after traveling all day to get there.

Had a lovely stay at the Berkshires Untold! We checked in late and the staff reached out to confirm our arrival time and accommodated us without issue. The lobby was absolutely gorgeous and this renovated motel was very well done. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pits outside but they looked cozy. We also did not have any food or beverage. The room was perfect for two of us, had all the basic amenities and was charming. Overall had a very pleasant stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was always helpful, but it didn’t seem like there were enough people working to fully take advantage of the common areas / restaurant / bar. Hopefully the property will expand its hours for these amenities.

Great place. It is a converted motel but done nicely with what looks like a new addition. The lobby/lounge/dining area is great to hang out in at the end of the day. Helpful and pleasant staff. A great value for the area and an easy drive to other restaurants or towns.

Very nicely renovated converted motel with extremely comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with good products. The bar/restaurant area is a very cool space. Doesn’t seem like a lot of people hang out there extremely good value for a comfortable hotel room, but not sure I’d wanna hang out there for long length of time.

Warm reception

The public areas are delightful and I'm sorry we didn't have time to relax beside the fireplace or in the outdoor seating area which must have lovely views and be great on summer evenings. Up-to-date and cozy decor in the rooms was very pleasant, and we appreciated little amenities like the automatic night light in the bathroom. There were a couple of issues that the somewhat overwhelmed staff addressed well and very nicely. We did not have anything to eat or drink apart from early morning tea and coffee. We stayed just Tuesday night and left early to start a day retreat at Kripalu; judging by the number of room lights on at 6 a.m., I think many of the other guests were doing the same, and it was a good combination.

Room adequate for a night stay. Breakfast service was odd. A maintenance person gave us one napkin & silverware service for 2 people. Hard boiled eggs brought still in the shell w/no way to rinse off the shells once peeled.

The hotel and room look exactly like the photos. It’s maintained well and they have a great and friendly staff. It’s close to the small towns all around the county and a quick drive from The Mount. The downside is the noise. If you’re on the highway side, you can hear the trucks pass by. But most of it is muffled by the ever so loud detached AC unit. The only way I can describe it is like sleeping next to a freezer fridge that is constantly making ice. It’s a tad too loud to pass off as ambient sound, unfortunately. Other than that, it’s a great hotel for a cute weekend getaway in the Berkshires.
