"The hotel was like home from home, all members of staff made us very welcome and were exceedingly helpful.
The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed both the breakfast and evening meals, good ingredients beautifully cooked and the service was quick and attentive.
Our holiday was mainly to visit gardens in the surrounding area,, five of which were within one hours drive = heaven.
York’s Park and Ride was a 20 minute drive away and we spent a good few hours sightseeing and shopping, including refreshments.
Overall our stay at The Crown Hotel exceeded our expectations and we’re already looking at dates to return next year.
