The characterful and spacious open plan living-dining-kitchen is an interesting fusion of Swiss contemporary and traditional chalet style with its wooden beams and high ceilings. Floor to ceiling panoramic windows and doors open out onto well-furnished balconies on opposite sides. After the sunset, sip a hot chocolate by the flickering light of the unique feature fireplace.



As the perfect day draws to a close, three bedrooms await you below on the second floor. The master bedroom with king sized bed and cable TV opens out onto a sunny south-west facing private balcony with views whilst a further two inviting twin bedrooms each with cable-TV as well as two well-appointed bathrooms complete this charming holiday retreat.

Spectacular, Friendly, the best!

I'm so glad I booked with Alpine! The staff was SO friendly and helpful, including daily "map" briefings to send us up the best gondola or train, concierge lifts up to our chalet so we didn't have to carry bags or groceries, and excellent instructions all around. The place was spotless and beautiful. Fantastic views and excellent modern amenities. Highly recommend!

Very nice chalet with a beautiful view of alps. Three bedrooms and furnish kitchen. Walk to chalet is up hill but doable. They provided van for getting to and at departure from chalet. The 3 bedrooms with washer and dryer was perfect for my group. Would recommend. Golf carts to tour the town would be nice.

Great Chalet for Summer Visit to Jungfrau area

Our family of five adults spent three nights in Wengen at Chalet Stella and thought we made a great choice. Wengen is a great little town and was in a great central location for all of hiking and exploring of the Jungfrau area. The Chalet was roomy (though second bathroom is a bit small), updated and comfortable for the five of us. It is about an 8 minute walk from the train station and most restaurants and shops. We loved being able to see cows around and also the cog train going by the kitchen window (I had worried it might be loud but wasn't at all). Would definitely stay there again. It was a bit frustrating in advance communicating with you by email. Days would go by without responses which was concerning. I found that using Whatsapp illicited better responses but I'm not sure why. There were about five bugs (spiders, moths, etc.) in and around the house during our stay but I'm guessing that can't be helped. And it wasn't fun to have to find the garbage and recycle places on our way out of town with our luggage.

Lovely chalet

Chalet Stella is a newer, beautifully designed, two floor chalet. Less than a 15 minute walk from the train station and centre. The views, furnishings, and three balconies made it a pleasure to be in. Very well equipped kitchen and dining space. It was fun to watch the cog train from the kitchen window and attached balcony. Wengen is a super village for walks and hiking via the local trails. The cable car and cog railways are amazing for visiting other villages and access to great hiking. We plan to return! It was a pleasure to book with Alpine Holiday Services and Rachel.....the booking process and stay was perfect.

Fabulous on-piste Chalet

Excellent venue for ski enthusiasts being right on the piste. Sitting in the sun on the balcony watching the skiers go past in the afternoon was great too. Plenty of space for 6 people, we cooked most evenings and enjoyed the open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. Would have been nice to have logs for the fire but the lounge was so warm we did not really need it. Ski and boot room very useful. Just a 10 minute walk in to Wengen for the shops and restaurants - a little challenging walking back up the hill if you're carrying skis or shopping but there are taxis at the station if needed (CHF 25). Overall the chalet was well equipped (no microwave though) and very clean. We had a great holiday - thanks!

Perfect home with everything

Chalet Stella was truly a stellar home away from home. It is the cleanest place I have ever lived in and is stocked with everything you would find at home -- from toys to food and drink, sewing amenities, first aid kit, candy and chocolate, detergent for laundry and dishes... Everything. The chalet is on a little hill with a view of a lovely field of cows on one side and the train track on the other. Both against a breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. Everything was simply perfect. The only thing we had a bit of trouble with was the kettle which seemed to be in need of descaling which we tried to do with vinegar and water but the water still came out with lots of white particles. We drank it anyway and are none the worse for it but still, better without I say! The beds and pillows are also a tad soft. All in, an excellent place to stay.
