Tasmania Adventure

The Florance was the perfect place to stay in Launceston! The room was great and Alicia was friendly, helpful, and served us a wonderful breakfast. The self check-in was easy and the directions were flawless. The ramp to the second floor made it easy to access the room. The room condition was great and the whole house was well maintained.

This was a friendly, cozy hotel with great staff and a congenial atmosphere. The food at breakfast was great, as was the environment. The rooms were entirely adequate, though you won't call them luxurious. Overall, it was a great stay with a uniquely warm vibe.

Perfect hidden gem

The hotel is located centrally to the cbd. Rooms are comfortable with own ensuite, tea and coffee. There is also a large conservatory / common area where you can relax. The breakfast provided is next level. The staff (particularly Zoe) were super helpful. If i couldve stayed longer i would.

Despite looking, from the outside, like a redecorated 'Fawlty Towers', this is a real 'find'. Everything was spotlessly clean, immaculately tidy and you could feel any stresses just drift away. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of it this morning. The breakfast offering was simple, but perfect. I couldn't fault the Florance and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Quaint is the best description I could give. Too much traffic noise. Too much noise from the room above at nite and 6 am in the morning. Breakfast was average at best. And the hosts where non existent. Severely overpriced for what it is.
