I liked the nice big rooms but the art works detracted from the charm of the place. If the hotel invested in large photographs of nearby places such as cradle mountain or traditional art that suited the building it would have elevated the feel of the hotel in my opinion.

Great old ex convent conversion. Location perfect. Quiet location off Frederick St but 10 minute walk into city. 5 min drive to Cataract Gorge. Owner James really helpful with information.

James, the manager was helpful at check in as he provided information about where to eat etc. We really appreciate the room upgrade. The hotel is quaint and pretty. The chambermaid is new therefore the bed was not properly made up on our 2nd night.

Great little charactercentric boutique accom

There were many things to like about the accomodation. It was super clean, bed was comfy, character of the old building remains but with modern conveniences. The shower pressure was great. The mini bar was actually honestly priced but i didnt use it. Checkin was old fashioned but easy. The only couple of things that i questioned was the old fashioned key entry to the room doors i felt was a little unsafe and the aircon temp couldnt be changed and was only for heating but if a cooler temp was reqd i had to open the window. Bear in mind that there is a primary school right next door so if you are trying to sleep during the weekdays, theres quite a bit of noise coming through when they are outside. Overall, it was a great deal and i would stay their again. Just not in Summer as im afraid it might be too warm.

Comfortable stay

Comfortable bed and lots of amenities in the room for a relaxing stay. The deep bath was fabulous and Netflix was a lovely bonus. Will definitely be back.
