Good quality hotel in great location, juzst mins by walk from Santa Catalina and Las Canteras. Stuff very friendly. Fast checking. Room clea nad good tandard. Very fast wifi. I'm sure I will back here.

Hotel Puerto Canteras

Great Hotel not far from anywhere, easy walk to everywhere. Even left us a fruit and cake basket in the room. Lovely gesture. The shower & the huge bed was fantastic.

The staff are friendly and the room is comfortable but the food is poor quality and very greasy. It's like su per value quality and full of preservatives. Is good for short break and eating out.

Great choice

Really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially Beatriz on reception) and the room was clean and fresh. The area around the hotel was safe and it's about a ten minute walk to the beach and restaurants. All in all, a great hotel for those on a budget.

Nice Hotel, close to the beach

The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were all friendly and it was situated a short walk from the main beach in Las Palmas. The breakfast was very basic, but good enough to start the day. It was very good value for money, close to the areas that we wanted to visit, and met almost all of our expectations. The only minor issue, which is why the hotel got 4 and not 5 was that use of the safe was charged at €2.50 per day, which was not a major issue, the issue was the safe was very small and could not accommodate my iPad or camera. These had to be left in the wardrobe in the room.

Couldn't sleep because of all the noise

The lady who worked the front desk at night was very friendly and helpful, but that's the only thing positive I can say about this hotel. The worst thing was that the walls were thin, and I could hear everything going on in the hotel from my first floor room, including conversations in the lobby. On the first night, I didn't get much sleep because of hearing loud talking and moaning at all hours. The second night, I didn't get a single minute of sleep because of a neighbor snoring loudly. (Yeah, that's how thin the walls/doors are.) It was cheap, but I would have rather paid 10 times as much to get some actual sleep. I also had no internet on the first night. There was internet on the second night. But on the first night, even the receptionist had to step outside of the hotel with the credit card machine with my card in order to get a wifi signal to process the transaction. My dry cleaning was dropped at 7 am my second day there. (The form says turn it in by 10am, and you will get it back by 7pm same day). This didn't happen and the receptionist said it would arrive the following morning at 10am (3 hours after I needed to check out). I had a valuable jacket in the cleaning, and I absolutely needed her to track down my stuff and get it to me that night, which she did after some phone calls.

Inexpensive choice.

A fairly new hotel and although it's not in the best of locations my first impression on entering was that it was really nice. The room was surprisingly spacious and smart. However over my stay I found several minor things to have a grumble ( to myself ! ) about. Shutters on the windows would not stay open, leaving the room in semi darkness. There was a hole in my bed sheet, and ugly stains on the under sheet. The towels looked grubby and varied from a bit fluffy to wafer thin. For the price it was still reasonable, but I fear that it is on a downward slope already if they don't spend a few bob.

Clean and well positioned hotel

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The area is fine but not the best but it's a short walk to the beach front and restaurants. Secure Parking is 13 € but if you get the yellow box outside there is no charge. Definitely good for the price.

Good for short stay

Perfect place for a one-night stay. Bed and pillows are conformable. Bathroom is clean, water pressure is good. Room is a decent size if you're only there to sleep. We were facing the street on a low floor so it was a bit noisy. Wi-fi is not great, very slow. Parking is pricey - 13 Euros.

Quiet hotel within easy reach of harbour and beach

Small quiet hotel with friendly staff and very clean. Short walk down to harbour front and about 10 minute walk from beach. Plenty of places to eat and drink around. Opposite end of bay to 'old town' so a long walk to the more cultural sights.

Budget hotel with minimum comfort

Rather cheap hotel walking distance from the beach. Clean rooms. On the other hand TV didn't work (problem with remote control), garage was not available, wifi was of a very poor quality, 4g didn't work either. Also safety box was not operational, when asked at the reception they said it is at an extra fee, asked to arrange it, they never showed up. Overall probably an ok hotel for one night.

Very good value for money, comfy and easy.

Comfy and clean hotel close to the beach. This neighbourhood used to be a no go area so at first I was reluctant to book a room but I am glad to say I was wrong. Walking back alone in the middle of the night wasn't a problem as the area is transited and well lit. The hotel is a small in size 4 stores building decorated in neutral colours with good finishes. The rooms are medium in size for European standards but might appear small for USA customers. The showeroom with a walk in shower is roomy and comfy with enough space for two in the glass cubicle (should you need to) The beds seem to be new and they were definety comfortable. The roll down window blinds together with the super AC were a bliss for a light sleeper like me in a city in where 27 celcius at 8am is the norm... The staff was welcoming and helpful. Both the check in and check out were done in a speedy fashion manner with no hassles. The breakfast is served in an adjacent bar (It doesn't get any more typical than this) with a good selection of breakfast items albeit basics.

Away from most of the tourists but near everything

You can expect things to work well in a new hotel and they do. Tucked away in a back street this place is a bright addition to a residential street. Ideal if you want somewhere that feels real but is still close to the beach and the bus routes. Very pleasant and attractive for a basic hotel.
