It's beautiful property and the lake views and swimming are great. The site is quiet and feels remote: we saw ospreys and even otters! Kayaks, paddle boards etc. were supplied, although a couple of the paddles were broken. We liked the contemporary house design and spacious rooms. More furniture in bedrooms would make life easier for families like us with small children and older people. In addition to the beds and TV's, a shelf, a cupboard, even a chair would help. Items that were listed but missing when we got there were supplied after we arrived - a child's high chair, some fans for the overheated upper floor. The kitchen is well equipped but the two ovens in the kitchen did not work throughout our stay, in spite of our own and the owner's efforts to fix them. The air conditioning failed during a heat wave and we baked for 3 days, after which a technician was sent and the system repaired. The owner offered us compensation, which we accepted. I think if this property were better maintained and everything listed was provided and in good repair we'd give it 5 stars.
