High quality fittings and very compact but comfortable. A little difficult for eating in the winter as only two stools and small bench. Summer would be great as could eat outside.Nice outlook and very close to Cowan walk and walking distance to township.

A wonderful lovely place

After driving a long distance to Lake Tekapo, the host greeted us with warm smile and introduced this lovely wood house. In here, you could find ALL you need -- even more than your expectation. The facilities and cooking stuffs are new, clean and tidy, we cooked ourselves both dinner and breakfast with these delicate plates(Just remember to wash by your own after use). The night in Tekapo was cold, we turned on the heater and hold the lovely blanket to enjoy the night. It's so sad that we only spent one night here, we really love the time staying Sunset Chalet. Just as the name, the sunset was wonderful when you look out the window, with moon in the sky. If you wish to have an unforgettable staying experience, I strongly recommend to choose Sunset Chalet.
