Amazing location inLagos

Exactly as pictured. Host was quick to respond to any questions. 10 out of 10 for location, walking distance to everything but quiet enough to feel like an oasis. Would highly recommend. My only suggestion, bring slippers, when it’s cold outside or rainy the floors are chilly!

Wonderful holiday!

We had a lovely holiday in this beautifuil villa. The hosts were amazing, Pedro was easy to contact and kept in touch, and Fernando and Olga met us there even though we were a couple of hours later than expected. The villa was clean, quiet and well equipped - we had everything we needed. The pool was lovely - we used it every day, and usually had it to ourselves. The outdoor terrace was also wonderful - there was plenty of space for five adults to spend the day there comfortably. It was an easy walk to Meia Praia beach, and a 20 minute walk into all the bars, shops and restaurants of Lagos. We loved this place, and we hope to return one day.

Fantastic!

We read all of the previous reviews and because they were excellent we decided to book. We were not disappointed! Fernando and Olga were there to greet us, even though it was quite late when we arrived and were excellent hosts. The villa was exactly as described and very homely, with all the amenities that one would require. My wife used the pool every day, although it was a bit too chilly for me, and we made full use of the patio, which is south facing and gets the sun on it for most of the day! We had an excellent stay and would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone wishing to have somewhere to stay that is a short walk to the beach and all the amenities of the town. Fernando and Olga and there son Pedro could not have been more helpful!

Fantastic clean villa close to beach and marina

Pedro's mum and dad greeted us and showed us around. Huge spacious lounge. All very clean and well equipped. We used the shared pool every day and had it to ourselves about 12 of the 14 times! Perfect villa for toddlers (we have one) as there is a nice stiff gate between villa and pool so that was a huge plus for us and our daughter couldn’t wander down to pool unless we were with her. 5 mins walk to nearest beach and 15-20 mins walk to marina which has great atmosphere and some bars. Pedro was also flexible about us checking out late on last day as we had a late flight home. This was much appreciated. Highly recommend this villa to families and we hope to return next year!

Excellent villa for 2 generation family

Villa easy to find in good location only 10 mins walk from nearest beach. Pedro and his dad were there waiting and gave us a very warm welcome. Very clean and spacious perfect for our 2 year old and grandparents. Highly recommend!!

Spacious, clean, home from home

Great property, outside area was lovely and with an upstairs terrace. Beach, Railway station (very cheap fares), and Pingu supermarket all around 10 minutes away. Town a little further. Science museum in Lagos is a must if you have kids also the tree top climbing park is very near and brilliant. Visit the ferry cats if you are a cat lover.

Excellent house in quiet setting but close to town

First class house that was very well equipped and felt like a home. All accommodation was good and spacious. The house was spotlessly clean and fresh. Very safe house for toddlers with access to the pool gated. Highly recommend this property and the owner very responsive and helpful. Great holiday property in great location.

Fantastic holiday villa!

We have had a fabulous holiday in this super villa. We were on an early arrival flight and Fernando and Olga greeted us and couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful - even taking us to the supermarket and showing us the quickest routes to the Marina (10 minutes walk) and the beach (10 minutes walk). The villa itself has everything you could need inside and a lovely terrace with direct access to the pool and a roof terrace with a view of the sea. Pool towels were also provided which was a real bonus and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves! The BBQ was the best we have cooked on in any villa we have stayed in and we especially enjoyed cooking the fish we had caught that morning on a boat trip. When we ate out we had delicious meals in the Marina and in the old town. Thank you Fernando, Olga and Pedro.

Wow! What a wonderful villa!!

We were given a very warm welcome by the owners who showed us round the villa. All the rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and have a homely feel. The villa is equipped with everything we could need during our holiday. We are a family of five and felt there was plenty of room for us all, either to be together or have some space to ourselves! The main terrace has table & chairs to seat 6 as well as 4 sun loungers and still doesn’t feel cramped! The roof terrace is perfect for breakfasts and has views of the sea. The pool was ideal and just a few steps from the villa set in well-tended gardens. The location of the villa is fab - just 15mins walk to the amazing beach, 10mins to the marina, & 20mins to the old town. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa, without doubt the best we’ve stayed in; and next time we visit Lagos we’ll be keen to stay here again. Many thanks to Fernando, Olga and Pedro!

The Perfect Family Getaway

Absolutely brilliant accommodation and location. We were met by hosts Fernando and Olga who couldn't have been more welcoming even though we arrived past midnight. They even gifted us with a couple of bottles of lovely wine. We have never stayed in holiday accommodation so well appointed and stocked with everything you could possibly need, including beach towels to use around the pool. The pool was shared with 2 other villas but was hardly used by anyone but us. It was also cleaned twice during our one week stay. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The marina is a 10 minute walk away where there are numerous restaurants and trips to book.We travelled with 2 teenagers who loved the shark fishing trip and a snorkelling trip through the caves along the coast. The numerous beaches along this coast are absolutely stunning. The Old town is a 15-20 minute walk away where you will find traditional cobbled streets and numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The day of our departure which was not until the evening Fernando and Olga were kind enough to allow us to store our luggage and even offered us the use of the pool for the day. I would thoroughly recommend both this holiday accommodation and location. We are already discussing a second trip.

Even better second time around

We stayed here last year and because we had such a good time we booked again for 2017. This time our experience was just as good. Great location for our early morning walks along the beach; only 5 minutes stroll to the Marina for our afternoon coffee and cake as well as some of our evening meals; and 15 minutes to the town for shopping and more good restaurants. The villa has everything necessary for a relaxing holiday and when we decided to eat in then we used the bbq on the terrace, which gets the sun all day. We have stayed at several places in Lagos over the years but this is the best.

Wonderful Villa in Portugal

There is nothing negative to say about this property it was clean, full of lovely furniture and fully stocked with every thing you could want for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property and will hopefully return. The Villa was perfect, the Owners were welcoming and gave us all the instructions required for the domestic appliances. There was WiFi which operated perfectly. The pool was clean and cleaned twice in one week. Although we shared the pool with three other Villas there was only one other family using it. The Owners gave us a contact number in case we required their help. There was a garage with two sets of up and over doors so that the Villa was secure when we went out and also kept the hire care cool. There was a Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Fridge Freezer if you wanted to eat at home and buy food from the Supermarket down the road. I would recommend this Villa to friends and relatives. There were lots of restaurants catering for all tastes in the Lagos near by. We did not take any children but the Beaches were sandy with Sun shades supplied. All the Beaches in the area were clean and tidy. All the Toilets locally were clean. We were told by our neighbours that the Taxi's were cheap if you had not taken a car, but the walk into town would be about 15 minutes, 5 minutes in the car. They had two bathrooms fully stocked with soap and Towels. You will obviously require your own toiletries. Bedding was supplied, Beds very comfortable. Two double rooms and a room with two single beds ideal for children. There were swimming pool toys in the washing machine room. 2 Hairdryers, a roof terrace, pation all fully equipped with sun bathing beds, tables and chairs. There was TV that had English programmes with Portugues sub titles. DVD Player. Bedding was supplied with ample Pillows. They also provided Beach Towels for use by the pool.

Perfect family holiday

House with swimming pool and a 5min walk distance to the beach. Barbecue area and lots of beach stuff (umbrella toys) available. In the kitchen you find everything you need to cook together. Easy and fast check in and helpful communication.

Pearl of a beautiful house to enjoy very comfortable holidays

Excellent location in walking distance to the beach, on foot you are within 10-15 minutes in the Old town, and there is a nice way through the relatively new area of apartment buildings via the marina. The house is fully and absolutely completely equipped, nothing is missing, there are two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The nice dining room and living room are decorated in a lovely way; wonderful terrace with an extraordinary swimming pool. Last but not least we had magnificent moments on the rooftop terrace with a prime view to the Ocean. Pedro offers not only nice equipment but also plenty of towels which is quite an exception because you have beach towels as well. Fernando and his wife, the parents of Pedro, gave us a very warm welcome and a proper introduction to the house. - The communication was impeccable. In total it’s a little paradise in an excellent location and calm neighbourhood, it offered us the most relaxing and also comfortable holidays. We are absolutely thinking of coming back once again.
