Perfect spot

We had great communication through out. Easy check in and the place was lovely. Walking distance to some of the best beaches along the coast. If ever we are in the region again I’m sure we will look at coming back

Excellent quite family get away

The villa was quietly located and well placed, a short drive to shops and restaurants, and just a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. Well equipped throughout, very clean and tidy. We had a lovey, relaxing break here and would recommend to others who don’t want to be within the tourist trap yet still want to enjoy the area.

Lovely quiet spot very homely

We enjoyed using the villa, great big pool, very spacious and private outside space. Has most things you need. Did find it a little hot during the night, one room has a ceiling fan which we moved into so maybe more fans would be good as no air con.

Beautiful Views and relaxing villa

We loved our stay here. The country setting was so relaxing. Everyday after returning from the beach we would lounge by the pool and watch the sun. The place was spotless. And we really appreciated the pool towels. Cool breezes flowed through the house every night. We would definitely return.

Wonderful place

Lovely traditional rustic villa, spacious and well furnished. Excellent deep and well maintained swimming pool with views to the sea. Easy access to local walking routes, best beaches within half hour walk. A couple of good restaurants within half hour walk. Plenty of sunbeds on a large patio, quite secluded.

Needed a bit of sun and relaxation

Great location - easy walk to fabulous beaches. Huge terrace and pool looking out to sea - loved it. It’s not posh or supercool chic - just very pleasant. We went September. Would probably benefit from aircon in July/Aug but early or late season - perfect.

Lovely house and pool for holiday

Casa Vitor is very nice located; really peaceful and with a great view at the ocean. Just beautiful. Large pool, very clean and large sun terrace with enough sunbeds for everyone with matresses and beachtowels. The house is basic, but has everything you need for a nice holiday. Kitchen is very well equiped. Only 15 minutes walk to secluded sandy beaches between the rocks!

The view and location is amazing, the villa requires some serious updating and improving.

The location, size and view of the villa is excellent. It is ideally placed for easy access to local resorts and amenities. The pool is a great size and the grounds are ample. The villa let’s itself down with its quality and fixtures. The beds are old and the bedding is also dated and old. The pillows are awful and look and feel like they had been there for years. We used blankets and cushions as substitutes. There were numerous light bulbs that were not working. The shower in the en-suite had a crack in the bottom which had been covered by a shower mat possibly to try and hide it, this caused water to leak onto the floor, and also debris to come up through the crack into the shower. This villa just needs some money throwing into it to bring it up to a superb quality venue. We went in October and the rate was fine, if I had rented it in the summer and paid substantially more I would have been very disappointed and not happy. A great location, let down by the way it has been presented and looked after.

Noisy Villa in need of some refurbishment

You will NOT get a peaceful, restful holiday here – it’s next door to a small holding. Dogs bark through the day up to midnight and the cockerel(s) start at 4.30am. A road runs past the bedroom windows with cars running to and from a spa resort nearby. We bought ear-plugs to stand a chance of getting any sleep. Double glazing but no A/C - on warm nights you sleep with the windows open. The master bedroom has a ceiling fan, but it is noisy, buzzing all the time. There is one other small desk fan. The beds are terrible – not just firm, they are rock hard with no padding. Joe provided us with a 1cm mattress topper, but it made no difference. We used pool lounger mattresses until Joe provided a second, equally thin, mattress topper. The master bedroom has en-suite facilities including a good shower but it only has a four-foot bed. The full-size double bed (with the mattress toppers) is in another room with no en-suite. There is no information in the villa at all. Nothing about shops, restaurants, what to do with rubbish, emergency info etc. No information about the Wi-Fi (the Wi-Fi code scribbled on a piece of paper and sellotaped to the wall). No instructions for the utilities other than their Portuguese handbooks. You are on your own to work everything out. DVD is all but unwatchable. Its loose scart lead has to be fiddled with to get a poor-quality picture with dreadful buzzing sound. We bought a new LG DVD player for 30 Euros which instantly improved things. The kitchen tap spurts water horizontally unless you fiddle with it, and was like that the day we left. The original kettle was didn’t always work, but Joe replaced it after we sent him a text. The BBQ hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived – my first job was emptying the ashes. A couple of the patio chairs are broken. Both the patio tables show their age. Just one small cheap parasol + a pile of broken parasols stacked in a corner - we bought a second. The pool has tiles missing and cracks on the sides. It is NOT clean. When we arrived, it had algae in places around the sides and was a little cloudy. By the time we left, it was so murky you could barely see the bottom. The steps green with algae and there was a diving beetle in it for a while. For the last two days, we didn’t swim in case we got an infection. I sent Joe several texts whilst there but never got a reply, and he never came to see us, never asked how we were getting on or to offer any help.

Amazing location. Rural and can walk to local beches

The area around the house is beautiful with the sound of the sea, local chickens goats and wild birds. The house is really pretty and so are the gardens and pool. There are a few negative points which did disapoint us: Although all the surfaces, oven, fridge etc were clean, deeper cleaning was not done. Coffee machine and kettle were dirty. All the handles in kitchen and throughout the house were sticky and dirty. Lots of ornaments fake flowers etc on display throughout the house were old and dusty, every drawer and shelf needed cleaning before we could unpack. The beds are not good. Every mattress needs replacing as they are unsupportive, lumpy, old and smelly. The sheets were old and faded, the duvets and blankets do not look or smell like they had been washed for a long time and the pillows old and lumpy and smelly. Also the kitchen tap squirts water across the kitchen, the shower head in main bathroom is unusable and the shower tray in en suite leaks badly. All that said, we did have a great stay after buying new bedding & pillows , spending 1st day cleaning everything out, washing bedding and towels and airing the house we were able to feel at home and comfortable. (except for the beds) Joe was very quick to help when we had a power cut and Donna Isobel was warm and friendly. With just a little investment in new mattresses and bedding , decluttering and cleaning this really could be the perfect getaway. It has huge potential, It feels quiet and rural but a stones throw from several resorts, beaches etc. Would 100% stay again if i knew these small improvements had been made.

Two week June holiday at Casa Leticia 2017.

My wife, niece and myself spent two weeks at Casa Leticia in June and found the Villa and surrounding area just to our liking. As people who enjoy the quiet sort of outdoor life, Casa Letitia met the bill with just the pleasant sound of neighbourhood chickens adding to the ambiance. Exploring the adjacent country side on foot was interesting with some terrific beach and sea cliff views about half a mile away. We found access down to the sea via a quiet cove to the left of the villa, probably best used at low water. We found Donna Isabel to be extremely friendly and helpful and was a great asset to have during our stay.

scenic, peaceful retreat

Fantastic location, fantastic pool, view and facilities. Great outdoor and indoor space. Decor a little dated and beds/pillows could be more comfy and kitchen cupboard handles could be less sticky. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Algarve here. There was a maid service twice a week - which we didn't expect. The local beaches were some of the best on the Algarve. Local restaurants were fantastic (with the exception of the New Delhi restaurant in Porches). Wildlife was great and so was the weather. We would happily return to this Casa anytime in the future.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage

Das Haus war fĂŒr unsere BedĂŒrfnisse ausreichend und gut, alles vorhanden! Falls doch etwas gefehlt hat, wurde sehr schnell reagiert und nachgeliefert. Der Pool war toll, gute GrĂ¶ĂŸe, sonnig und erfrischend. Die strandnahe Lage hat auch Alternativen zum Pool geboten. Man konnte innerhalb kurzer Zeit eine Reihe an Restaurants und SupermĂ€rkten erreichen.Ventilatoren in allen Zimmern wĂ€ren zusĂ€tzlich sehr schön, da es doch auch nachts ziemlich warm war. Die Kinderbetten haben sehr gequietscht und die Matratzen waren etwas durchgelegen, aber mit zwei Decken als Polsterung ging es.

Excellent séjour

Maison trÚs agréable, vue extraordinaire et emplacement au top. La piscine est tres bien entretenue et grande. Tout est parfait pour passer un excellent séjour. La personne s'occupant du ménage est venue se présenter et nous a demandé combien de fois elle devait venir nettoyer pendant notre séjour, c'est vraiment super ! Seul bémol, vaisselle un peu vieillotte et en grande quantité mais manque de certaines choses essentielles (pas de bol, 4 verres à vin...) Mais cela n'a pas gùché notre voyage !!

Super-Lage und Super-Pool

Allein der Blick von der Dachterrasse und der uneinsehbare Pool sind die Reise wert. Zwei schöne StrĂ€nde sind zu Fuß per kleiner Wanderung oder mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub braucht. Die Doppelbetten sind 1,40 breit. Ohne Auto geht es nicht. Weiterer Pluspunkt: stabiles WLAN. Kontakt mit dem Vermieter unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
