Hotel Catedral

"We travelled in Mexico for 2 1/2 weeks. Hotel Catedral was by far our favourite hotel. It’s modern and immaculately clean. It is centrally located 3 blocks from the centre of the Malecón. Directly across from an old Cathedral and a little plaza/park. It’s easy to get to and they provide underground, secure parking with generous stalls. The staff are amazing and super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The rooms are fairly spacious and the beds are the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept on in Latin America. It was perfectly quiet and we didn’t hear a noise. The air conditioning worked really well. The curtains blacked out all sunlight. The showers were large, lots of hot water and there was even a retractable line to hang wet swim wear. They provided free bottles of drinking water everyday. There is a pool and cocktail bar on the 4th floor overlooking the Cathedral next door. The included breakfasts were buffet style with a large selection and they changed up the selection everyday. They even provide beach towels daily if you like. Value wise, it would be hard to beat. I honestly can’t mention one thing that we would improve in our 4 night stay. Wonderful!"
