No ocean view from balcony. Housekeeping advertised to be every other day. I asked for all days and was told yes. But still no housekeeping on the 2d day. Rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. No ice on our floor (3d), and microwave was a hike to the other end of the hotel. Lobby coffee meh, and lukewarm. Limited parking in front, otherwise in back alley; seems wrong to charge $20/night for that. Staff was friendly.

Awesome. It’s a great layout for the building and rooms, cozy, well adorned, and a great price for the prime location in the heart of the shopping zone in La Jolla. Limited ocean views but it’s the best spot for walking to the ocean or to a restaurant. 2 minutes from my favorite Robert Walkers pancake house.

We had a great stay. We visited in the off season so price was great. The hotel is clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly. Parking is a little tricky with the number of non-compact cars that park in spaces labeled as compact that makes getting through the front lot a challenge but there is extra parking in the back.
