La Alcarria Vacation Packages

Staff too friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, eggs were too cold.

Great Location, but Very Basic Experience The only real highlight of this hotel is its excellent location. It is within walking distance of Madrid’s most popular neighborhoods, major tourist attractions, and many restaurants and other amenities. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The hotel offers virtually no extra amenities or added value not even a coffee maker in the room. The bathroom is practically right next to the bed, making the room feel very basic, with little thought given to comfort or convenience. Overall, the accommodation is extremely basic, with nothing particularly special to offer. The check-in process was also frustrating. It requires completing an online procedure on your phone, and the system is slow and inconvenient. Unfortunately, the reception staff simply direct you to complete the process on your phone to gain access to your room, rather than providing much assistance. In short, the location is excellent, but that is really the only thing this hotel has going for it. If you are looking for a place to sleep in a very central location and have no expectations regarding amenities, it may be sufficient. However, if you expect comfort, convenience, or any added value for your money, you may be disappointed.

Had two big heavy suite cases & had climb very steep stairs. No bell boy service. The restaurant was excellent.

I had quite an underwhelming experience staying here. The building is excellently located within the city center, but they fail to mention that literally right next to it is a trash depository, for which the truck comes in the middle of the night, roughly between midnight and 3am and it’s quite loud. Makes sense why they would provide earplugs in the “welcome gifts”, but fail to mention that this is really important for people trying to enjoy a quiet night of sleep, and I’m pretty sure you can hear the loud truck from any of the apartments in the building. They have storage lockers for luggage which can be quite useful if needed, as well as a breakfast that you can purchase. The breakfast was nicely set up and neatly kept but the selection of items fell short of expectations to be honest, I just felt like it was missing some important items, such as eggs (to clarify, they do have a Spanish tortilla, but there is more potatoes than eggs in them). Ultimately, and for reasons unknown to me, the second day at the apartment, the stairs and bathroom vent/exhaust fans were absolutely covered in dust, which I suppose was just not cleaned properly before I arrived with my family. Overall, I would suggest considering other options as well because this feels cheap for what they charge.

Friendly check in staff, clean room, gave more of hostel vibes then hotel. No real issues except I personally feel for the price I would of liked something that felt more like a hotel otherwise I could of booked a hostel. My biggest complaint was if anyone in the hallway talked or open/shut their door you could hear it in our room. Great breakfast options and plenty of different types of seating was def a plus.
