Fine business hotel near to Kusatsu station

This hotel was built around 2013/2014 so it is in good shape & offers all the room conveniences of a modern Japanese hotel. Its buffet breakfast room is also a restaurant open to the public. The Japanese breakfast selection was excellent. Reception staff were polite & helpful. The hotel is very near to Kusatsu station but there was no problem with noise from trains. There is a handful of restaurants on the square to the east side of the station, easily accessible through the station (the hotel is on the west side). Rooms are "the standard small size typical of a modern Japanese business hotel".

Great Hotel

Very large room with a modern interior. Staff very friendly throughout the stay. Room cleanliness cannot be faulted. The breakfast buffet has a massive selection of dishes so is great to suit everyone. The restaurant dinner menu is varied and delicious food. Although the hotel is not in central Kyoto the train station (2 minute walk) has frequent trains into the center (less than 20 minute train ride, less on rapid services). It’s location means the rooms are very quiet at night so it’s easy to get a good nights sleep.

Good price and very clean and up dated. Room was very small. We were gone a lot in Kyoto so did not bother us. Know closet and hard to fit luggage, but we managed.

Hotel close to train station

For convenience to the train station, this hotel is nice. Our room was non-smoking however it had been a smoking room at one point in time. The room still smelled like remnants of cigarette smoke, which was not to my liking. However, overall, our stay was very nice

Room is a typical Japanese business hotel size (a tad bit in the small side). But the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The local area is pretty quiet with a Family mart a block away. Parking is a bit of a hassle in that you have to go to the back to use a parking elevator. But for the price, definitely worth staying.

Great choice

Location: Superb close to JR (right beside the hotel), 24/7 supermarket, family mart, 7/11, restaurants nearby (if you willing to walk several steps further), quite and relaxing surrounding. Room: Clean, cozy and comfort. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Facility: There is laundry room which contain paid washing maching and clothes dryer which help you to travel light or spare more spaces for shopping. Note: It takes about 20 minutes to Kyoto Station. Great option (if the price match your budget), you are fine with extra travelling cost/time for nice surroundings and 24/7 supermarket is a sweetspot for late evening groceries.

Great stay in Kyoto.

Hotel location is excellent , right next to the JR station. If you were to stay here make sure to purchase your JR pass if not, it can get expensive to get to most popular tourist location in Kyoto. Staffs was very nice and helpful. Even this is one of the older hotel, the room is very clean, room size is typical Japanese size but bigger than most Tokyo hotels. Bed is comtable, bathroom is a little small but clean. Overall, I am very happy and definitely recommending this hotel to traveler visiting Kyoto.

Great value!!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and covenient for the train station to Kyoto/Osaka. There are many restaurants in the area and a supermarket juwt a few steps away from the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel close to train station

Very easy to find. Close to station and supetmarket and only 30 minutes to Kyoto. Room was clean and normal sized for a Japanese Hotel.

Excellent business hotel

Overall, I am very pleased while a week stayed at the hotel during my business trip. The room was very clean but rather small with no closet. Great location, 50 meters to Minami Kusatsu train station and Only 20 minutes from Kyoto.
