Excellent location in Kumamoto

stayed here for 2 nights. excellent location in Kumamoto Shinshigai in the center of the nightlife area with lots of good restaurants and stores in close proximity. Slightly dated hotel. A walking distance from Kumamoto Castle and Josaien. The hotel amenities and breakfast is ok. They do have vending machines, coin laundry, ice dispenser and a microwave on certain floors. They also have an large public indoor and outdoor bath space and sauna for both men and women on the top floor. They have an automated car parking tower next to the hotel with staff assistance; there is a size limit for the car so you may want to check the sizes in advance. There are many coin car parking spaces nearby but will be full during weekend nights with many locals coming to this area for dinner.

Clean and tidy, and the staff were excellent. Tattooed customers can use the onsen between 24:00 and 02:00 which was great. Room was ok, but paying for a corner room for a view and bring surrounded by buildings in close proximity made having windows pointless. Breakfast area too small and crowded.
