Thereā€™s way better value for money on Koh Chang. Staff is very polite and helpful but the accommodation is to call very mediocre. Thereā€™s windows in the roof that cannot be blinded, overall maintenance is a few years behind and the location is a bit remote, you can only leave the property bij taxi (witch is overpriced by the resort) or rental scooter. Iā€™m in a resort now a few miles down the road for almost half the money and way better accommodation.

Idyllic resort, with its own picturesque beach.

Idyllic resort, with its own picturesque beach. it has two swimming pools. Downside is that it's not easy to get to the nearby communities (eg Lonely Beach), especially at night because it's dangerous to walk along the roads. There are taxis, but the prices are extortionate at night. It's more suited to families and couples, who aren't bothered about going outside the resort at night.

Vi Ƥr ett pensionƤrspar som vistades 9 nƤtter pĆ„ resorten i en strandvilla (102) och hade en fantastisk tid dƤr och Ƥr helnƶjda. Vad vi saknade pĆ„ rummet var stolar och fƶrvaringsutrymmen. Det fanns ett utrymme i kombination med duschrummet med men utan hyllor eller krokar. Ƅven litet utrymme fƶr galgar dƤr man kunde hƤnga klƤder men inga lĆ„dor f.ƶ. eller sƤngbord. Bagaget fick agera garderob mitt i rummet. Vi hade gƤrna haft mer Ƥn tre spikar att hƤnga upp handdukar i badrummet. Lite unken lukt pĆ„ WC. Men bortser man frĆ„n det var resorten fantastisk, lugnt omrĆ„de, ingen trƤngsel, lite drƶmlik strand med ebb och flod. Det gĆ„r att Ƥta mat pĆ„ hotellet men Ƥven nĆ„gra andra restauranger som nĆ„s via stranden, vid flod barfota. Fƶr att komma till Lonely Beach kan man fƶrvisso gĆ„ till fots men man fĆ„r dĆ„ svettas ordentligt dĆ„ det innebƤr att gĆ„ uppfƶr en hel del. Och med smal vƤg som Ƥr vƤltrafikerad. Tid ca 20 min men med taxi gĆ„r det ocksĆ„ bra (ca 100 Bht/person dagtid, dyrare tillbaka kvƤllstid)

Everything was great to start. Room beautiful, staff great, area nice but no hot water. Even when it worked it was Luke warm at best and the worst internet on the island . If it were not for Pam at the front desk who was wonderful this place would have gotten 2 stars from me. It would have received 5 stars if the internet and hit water worked. Thanks again for Pam she really tried to solve all problems. Please if you are the owner and can read this fix these areas . I have stayed at the sea view next door and they have great internet and hit water but the Siam bay is definitely more charming.

TrĆØs beau bungalow spacieux en bord de mer. La plage est magnifique. De nombreux services sont proposĆ©s tels que les massages, location de canoĆ«, de scooterā€¦ Excellent accueil, le directeur est trĆØs avenant ainsi que tout le personnel. Le petit-dĆ©jeuner est copieux avec beaucoup de choix. Le restaurant propose de bons plats Ć  prix raisonables.

Ok men inte mer.

Rummen var mer slitna Ƥn vad vi fƶrvƤntade oss. Det gick knappt att lƄsa rummet. NƤr vi rƄkade "lƄsa oss ute" sƄ ƶppnade jag med ett sugrƶr! TvƄ av sƤngarna saknade lakarn och efter klagomƄl fick vi sƄ vi lakarn sƄ att vi kunde bƤdda sjƤlva. Vissa dagar blev det inte stƤdat och andra sƄ lƤmnades smutstvƤtt och soppor kvar pƄ terassen. Stranden var fin, lƄnggrund och lugn, utsikten vacker och avkopplande. Saknade service pƄ stranden och vid poolen. LƤget var vƤldigt avskilt vilket skapade lugn men samtidigt pƄ gƄngavstƄnd via stranden till Kai Bae by. Dock var det ett mƄste med tuk tuk tillbaka pƄ kvƤllen. Ok men inte mer Ƥn sƄ. Inte vƤrt pengarna och definitivft inte det extra dyra natten fƶr inkluderad nyƄrsfest/nyƄrsmiddag som bestod av dƄligt tillagad och kall mat. TrƄkig tisstƤllnig ƶverlag men plus fƶr mycket bra engagemang och fƶrsƶk frƄn hotellets sida. Vill du ha ett lugnt och bra hotell i Kai Bae sƄ rekommenderas grannhotellet pƄ samma strand.
