Lovely well stocked ocean front home with a mix of old and new. Views from the 3rd floor living area are stunning. Plenty of sleep spaces with interesting layout. All spaces are clearly cleaned and well! Plus home has many things to do for those rainy or cold days. Hosts are fantastic- best I’ve had on vrbo. Clear and inviting instructions; helpful to questions; invested in your stay. We will absolutely stay here again next time in OBX.

House was great. Great set up for a family and friend get together. Everyone had their own personal space and nice big area for quality time cooking and relaxing together. Host is great too. Very responsive and kind.

We all LOVED the house and location. Every morning we watched the sunrise from the handy deck on the main floor! Everything was beautiful and thoughtfully designed!!! We enjoyed the beach, local restaurants , stores and boardwalk!!! We played pool, ping pong and board games. The hot tub was luxurious and at a perfect temperature!!! We all want to return!!!

Great location. Kitchen was terrific. We're foodies/cooks and it was very well equipped. Every time we needed something, we found it. Having the "rec" room on the main floor was a plus; usually they're buried on the first floor in a dark windowless room. The rainfall shower heads felt luxurious. Looking forward to next year. We caused some floor damage and the host managed the insurance/repair process with courtesy and professionalism.

Overall, the property was enchanting. Our party of 8 enjoyed the week immensely. It was a short walk to the beach over only one dune. However, the arrangement of rooms was bizarre, like the elevator being in a bedroom. The top floor captain's lookout tower was stacked full of stored of bar stools such that entry was prohibitive. The commercial kitchen stove did not work properly. Settings of 375 degrees only yielded 175 degree heat. The rental agent/owner was not responsive to our complaint. In the end, he blamed us for all the house's deficiencies and returned less than half of our 3000 security deposit. We will never do business with this shyster again.

We checked in Friday afternoon. The process was very smooth and aligned with the instructions we received. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances that we utilized all week. We cooked every meal as the kitchen was great for my bride l niece who is going into her second year of culinary in high school. The bedrooms and bathroom are exactly as pictured. The kids loved the pool table and other games. The view and access to the beach was chef's kiss.

Tons of space, amazing views (dolphins!), steps from the beach, well stocked kitchen, ice makers were great, and pool access was extremely welcome after we encountered a few days of excessive jellyfish and sea lice, as well as rough ocean currents. We had some minor issues with check in (settings to wrong time zone), the oven (analog dials and no preheat confirmation left us guessing), smoke detectors (they went off for no reason at 3AM one night), and we wish the listing had stated that the renter was responsible for providing propane for the grill (grill also hadn't been cleaned), but otherwise the property was just about perfect for our large extended family's first trip to the Outer Banks. We're already looking forward to next summer!

Great property, clean, well stocked and perfect location.

Our third year at this property. Highly recommend it for any group. Clean, well stocked, lots of ammenties, great view, easy steps to the beach, walking distance to resturants. Discriptions and pictures of the home are very accurate. You'll not be disappointed.

Amazing Home!!

Perfect location, private and quiet. Private beach, no stress trying to find a place to put the chairs provided. View from family room is amazing, you can see dolphins from the windows or the deck. This is the best vacation home we have ever rented. The kitchen has every tool you could possibly need, to include amazing 8 burner commercial range with a griddle, kitchen aid mixer, bbq tools, pots and pans, champagne corks. Home was immaculately clean, beds were comfortable and almost all the rooms have a ceiling fan. Even though it rained every day except 2 we had a wonderful family vacation. Will definately book this home again.

Nice place to spend Christmas at the beach

This house offers a great view and access to the beach/ocean from the great room/kitchen/dining room. We stayed over Christmas and though it was cold, it was nice having a gas fireplace, a hot tub and a pool table. It has a lot of sleeping spaces throughout the house each with their own bathrooms.

Beautiful cottage

My family had an amazing vacation at this beautiful cottage. When we arrived the downstairs ac was not working but the owner was there the next morning to put in multiple window units to keep us cool. Plenty of space to gather as a family and great bedrooms to get a little quiet time. View of the ocean was amazing and easy walk to sit and play on the beach. The screened porch with hot tub and fireplace was also a very popular place to hang out. The pack and play and high chair was a nice touch for our youngest grandson. I could go on and on. If you are thinking about a cottage in this area trust me this is the one to rent!
