Well stocked, perfect location, well appointed property. The tv/internet was in and out and didn’t work well for streaming but in Hawaii there’s not a need for a lot of tv watching! The biggest challenge with the unit was the ant and roach problem. I have stayed at other apartments in this building and didn’t have these issues as the owner was persistent about keeping bugs out and paid for their own pest control in addition to what the building does. Those units are slightly more expensive and had I known about the pest problem I would have paid more for my short stay. The owner of this unit invested in traps and spray which helped, but while on vacay I just DON’T want to think about bugs at all. Aside from that, the unit is wonderful. The owner includes beach toys and chairs, a cooler, tennis equipment which are great to have. The property is steps away from the beach on the west side of the island making for wonderful sunsets and ease of travel all around Maui. The pool, hot tub and grill area are also a great benefit. The owner was very attentive and responsive to communication. Overall a good host with a very promising listing.
