This is our second time staying at this location- we like how close it is to downtown Kenosha, the view from the room (the bay), and that there is a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room. This hotel does seem old and could use some improvements. Cracks in th ceiling, baseboards fallen off on the floor in the bathroom, the shower smelled smoky/strange like a weird cleaner was used. Moldy spots in the caulking in the shower, the windows were leaky and in the morning were full of condensation. The heat was weird- when it kicked on it was really hot (we set it to 69), but then it would get really cold when it wasn't running. Choosing continuous fan was actually cold air. The breakfast was great for my kid, but being gluten and dairy intolerant, nothing but apples and oranges for me. Last year they at least had oatmeal packages. This year: cereal, packaged muffins, pancake machine, scrambled eggs (likely fluffed with flour), biscuits and gravy, bagels, and toast. Yogurt. Honestly good options for folks who can eat anything. My kid spends most of his time at the pool (great for kids as it's only 3 feet deep the whole pool). They do offer pop for $1 behind the counter, and have some essentials. Overall, not a bad place to stay. They should really just invest in some light remodeling.

There was a very large opening under the air/hear unit. No insulation, just LOTS of cold air coming in. TV didn't work, called front desk and they said someone would be in tomorrow. Nothing ever happened. Called again next day. Told maintenance wasn't in. No iron in the room either. Been here several times and they were "ok" before not nothing special. Disappointed for sure this time. Since we didn't book with them and used Expedia, they wouldn't do anything to fix the situation.

Check-in was seamless. Room was spotless and the view was gorgeous. I was in room 315. I came back around 9:30pm and my door wouldn't open. I went to the desk, got my key fixed but still wouldn't work. Turns out, the batteries for the lock were dead. The hotel worker called and I waited about 10-15 minutes before being told my door was fixed. When I got to my room, my door was OPEN and no worker was nearby. Being a woman traveling alone, I was terrified but thankfully the room was empty. I found out a little later that the bathroom sink drains very slowly and it almost overflowed onto the floor. Fast forward to 7am after breakfast, I notified the front desk again that I was unable to get into my room and with me only being here one night, this was very inconvenient. Long story short, I loved the view and staff was nice but the complications were very unnecessary and just enough to make me not come back.

breakfast was poor, runny eggs and burnt sausage. Floor in room was dirty. Pool water was slimy as tho it wasn't shocked in months, whirlpool was broken and the hand rails into the pool and whirlpool where very loose. Night clerk was nice and apologetic about the whirlpool, the day manager was rude and wouldn't even look up from his monitor when i asked for a discount due to the whirlpool being broken
