Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our time at Kahikole! The view is amazing. This was our 2nd time staying in this beautiful house. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We love the location. Close enough to get to attractions and Hilo easily, but out far enough to be quiet and private. We saw whales, dolphins and a sea turtle from the lanai almost daily. We enjoyed our time and hope to be able to return some day.

Kahikole is the perfect place to stay if you want peace and quiet. The view from the lanai, the living space, and the bedrooms is awesome. The drive to Hilo, Kalapana, Volcano isn’t short, but well worth it.

Great location and facility.

We loved sitting on the lanai for daily breakfast and watching the sunsets in the bay. The well-stocked kitchen was much appreciated. We would love to return someday.

Beautiful Unique Property

Everything about this home was incredible. Clean, well stocked, gorgeous views, comfortable beds/linens. The only down side is that it is about 5 miles off the main road but that's what also makes it so special. Would stay here again without question.

Amazing, amazing house! Impeccably clean, equipped, every detail well thought. Everything you need is there, for inside and outside as well (beach equipment). The view is breathtaking. The neighbourhood is also beautiful.

The upper deck was my favorite place to just sit and relax with morning coffee or just to read a book, the view is stunning. Everything was very clean upon arrival and kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The trade winds and fans kept it cool. Neighborhood was friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

Sunrise is the best

This is probably the cleanest rental housing I ever stayed in my lifetime of journey. Scenery here and in this area is the best in a whole islands.
