Modern villa with fantastic views

This villa met and surpassed our expectations. The views from the patio area are stunning and the swimming pool overlooks these and is always kept clean. There is everything here for a very comfortable stay and having the villa cleaned with clean sheets and towels changed regularly is appreciated very much. A car is needed if you want to explore the area and reach the supermarkets in Messini. From here, you can visit Ancient Messini, Olympia and the Palace of Nestor as well as the towns of Koroni, Methoni and Pylos. There are some lovely clean beaches nearby such as Agia Triada and further away at Voidokilia. We would not hesitate to stay at this villa again or recommend it to anyone who wishes to explore the Messenian area of the Peloponnese.

Stylish villa in semi remote location

4 New stylish villas located above Petalidi town, it is walkable however quite a challenge even at night when it’s hot. The road is a single track road. The views from the villa are absolutely amazing and it’s beautiful to watch the sun rise (6.13a.m when we stayed!) You do lose the sun between 4.30-5.00 as it disappears behind the mountain. Electric shutters on windows keep the house beautifully dark in the mornings and cool during the day, amazing sun shades on the back of villa, which was a huge benefit. The local village is very Greek, there is a square, church a couple of small supermarkets, half a dozen restaurants and a pharmacy and doctor (should you need). There is a Lidl on the way from Kalamata. The best local beach in our opinion is Velika which is about 15 mins away, free sun beds if you use the bar and very quiet when we visited. Gets quite wavy in the afternoons. Voidokilia is a beautiful beach also worth a drive although need to take a beach umbrella as no beds or umbrellas there. Cleaner came every day, towels and the sheets changed more often than they needed to be. Owner & son are super nice and speak excellent English. If you want peace and quiet and to get away from it all you will love it. Listen out for the Jackals when the moon rises!

It was just awesome

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The house was just perfect, the view just beautiful and the service was really great! I can only recommend this place! We had a power outage one evening and Stephanos (the son of the owner) did everything to fix it and stayed till everything was working properly. We really felt safe!

Wundervolle Aussicht, sehr idyllisch

Die Unterkunft ist sehr großzügig gestaltet mit einem weitläufigem Aussenbereich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, um sich selber zu verpflegen. Allerdings mangelt es etwas an Privatsphäre, da man die von den Terassen der Villen einen kompletten Einblick auf die jeweils benachbarte Terasse hat. Hier wäre ein entsprechender Sichtschutz angenehm.

Beautiful villa in the hills near Petalidi

We stayed in the house for two weeks. There is a stunning view of the ocean. The house was cleaned every day. You can reach beautiful beaches, castles and waterfalls all within max. 40 min drive. Whenever we had a question, Stefanos would answer it and help with any problem. Highly recommend for couples and small families.

Très bons contacts avec le propriétaire. La villa est située à l'écart de la ville, ce qui permet d'être au calme et pour autant à proximité des commerces, des bars et des restaurants. Mobilier contemporain, fonctionnel et confortable. Grâce aux baies vitrées, nous avons pu profiter en permanence de la superbe vue sur les oliviers et la mer. La terrasse est grande avec des chaises longues très confortables et la piscine est agréable. Et en prime, nous avons bénéficié de la présence d'une femme de ménage.
