Host did not leave a key, as required by the property management. The AC units did not cool the condo and were extremely loud. Some stupid haole money grabbing church clogged up traffic on Sundays.

I will not be staying with Caldwell Banker again!
When I walked into this unit, it was lovely. The place was clean and had no bugs. The next day a family with a small child moved in above me. I could hear the child running back and forth in their unit, moving the furniture around and hollering. I contacted CB regarding this situation and was told to let the property manager know. Over the course of my entire stay (9 days), I was in contact with CB and the property manager regarding this family. The child would wake me every morning around 5am by their excessively loud noises (running, dragging furniture around, hollering, slamming doors)! I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep until after that child did; which was usually after 11pm.The final decision that CB gave me was that I could move into another unit on my second to last day. I would have to pay for any difference in the cost though. Other issues: *dirty dishes*no grill utensils *no propane *verticle blinds brokenI love visiting the Big Island and really wanted to leave a good review; but, with their lack of interest in Kona Bali Kai Condominium rules and concern for my well being, I feel I could not. The condo rules were Quite Hours 10pm-8am on weekdays and 11pm-8am on weekends.

the apartment is tiny, suitable for one or two people for one or only two nights because there is no space for personal items such as T-shirts, panties, shorts, etc. there is only a small wardrobe with a few hangers, a collapsing bed in the small bedroom because the mattress is broken, a very uncomfortable small sofa in the room. living room AC broken and very noisy overall very poor holiday apartment for a couple for almost two weeks

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the location. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order a couple of times and appeared to have some cleanliness issues. The staff was super helpful. On our last full day, the unit was sprayed for pests thankfully as we had some issues with ants and roaches. We cleaned daily to keep them at bay. Additionally, not all the outlets worked but we were able to make do.
Condo was as shown on line - updated and very clean. Neighbors were respectful and quiet. Only issue to be aware of is noise from the road and from the lack of sound proofing in the ceiling. Condo is on the 2nd of 3 floors and footsteps on the floor above can be quire loud depending on who is staying there. Also, this is a stretch of Ali'i Drive that is heavily trafficked.

Almost great
This apartment is in a good location along Ali’i with a quick walk across the street to the water. There’s a Poke Cafe across the street, and a market next door. The apartment is well appointed with all the necessities, solid kitchen equipment, beach towels, chairs, etc. The lanai is nice with a little bar for drinking your morning coffee. However, there are some things that need to be resolved for us to ever stay there again.
