As I stated in my other reviews, the floors were filthy. It started with them just being sticky.So I asked to borrow a mop and some cleaner. I'm opt in myself several times and then waited for the floor to completely dry before I let my kids play on the floor. After letting them run around for maybe ten minutes my children's socks were completely black on the bottom. I witnessed a cleaning person using a spray bottle and a filthy mop clean three different rooms with the same mop, they never cleaned or changed the mop.

The room was not well cleaned (hair in the sink, dust bunnies in the corners) and appeared it hadn't been used in a while due to some dried out insects on the floor. I assume that the insects had taken up residence since the previous tenant had moved out and then expired. I checked out a day early and found that I had to pay for the unused night anyway so if you think your schedule may change, book each night separately so you can cancel before your cancellation deadline.

Quaint little place off the beaten path. Awesome check in. Nice lady got me in quick. She was sweeping out front making sure facility was inviting. Room was all set up and clean. Slept like a baby. Had a delicious breakfast and hot coffee and was on the road again!!

Drove up to the hotel and thought, hmmmmm, Motor Court Motel? Bates Motel? But NO. It's a refurbished older place and the room was very nice, cute decor, lots of hot water, good t.v. There was great staff and simple check in. I parked right in front of my room. I felt safe and rested well. This is a small town- if you want fast food there's DQ, Sonic and a Subway at the gas station, that's it. La Mexicana had good sit-down Mexican food and was quiet and cheap. Nice people. That's about it. Little town, Sonora.
