The Western Nomad Room is #4 of the 5 rooms at Spin & Margie's Desert Hideaway, a quiet retreat on 29 Palms Highway, less than 5 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree. This stylish room has a beautiful full kitchen, and your choice of shower or tub for bathing. The room lets out into our courtyard oasis, and has a side door leading to a private sitting area. Situated on our secluded private grounds with a beautiful swimming pool and ample free parking. We do ask that guests respect quiet hours after 10pm.
For entertainment, guests can enjoy Smart TVs. Kitchens, microwaves, and ovens are also available.

Very arty and interesting property with wonderful ambience and amenities and well equipped kitchen. Just off the 29 Palms Highway so there is some background noise. Near the park, close to commerce. We really enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised by the private patio. Our dog is very reactive and it was a big bonus to be able to have some outdoor safe space for him. The space was much bigger than we thought. Very functional kitchen - we cooked a lot. Would stay again!

Funky and fun decor. Good location. There was some highway noise, but it quieted down later at night. Large units and wonderful outdoor areas. The pool was very inviting, although we did not have a chance to use it. Quick and appropeiate responses from the owner to address a couple cleaning issues. Would recommend and consider staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Comfy bed and cozy living room. Great shower and a big bathtub which were great after a day of hiking at Joshua tree. The place was beautifully decorated, and was very unique. A large and beautiful shared garden and patio with many cacti. Also we had a small private outside area to sit with our coffees in the morning. Only a 10 min drive away from the main park entrance, it was super convenient. Hosts were super responsive and helpful when contacted. We really loved it here, and highly recommend this place for a great stay at Joshua Tree.

Quirky Tile-filled Courtyard Retreat

This informal hide-away filled with colorful tiles, has one foot in an earlier time while aspiring to updated tastes.The lay-out is eccentric but cool in the warm desert climate.
