Came to Iowa City with friends and family to visit our daughter at the University and see a football game. We could not have picked a better place. First the communication with the host was great. So easy to check in and not a lot asked for check out. Very clean. Everything looks new. Lot of inside space and a awesome fenced in back yard. Nice quiet neighborhood. And the location was perfect. Short drive to the campus and football stadium. Even a grocery store at the end of the street. Can't wait to come back.

Excellent host and amenities, this truly felt like a home away from home! The open floor plan was perfect for family time and food. We were so grateful for the cleanliness, state-of-the-art appliances, toiletries, comfy bedrooms, and even the board games! Just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of Iowa City, and just close enough to go out for a fun dinner downtown! With a Hyvee literally right next door! We enjoyed mornings and evenings outside in the backyard and spotting deer on our walks around the neighborhood! Highly recommend this cozy home. We loved our weeklong stay here to help our girls move postgrad. We are grateful to have made some of our last memories in Iowa City as a family in this home!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and its owners. Beautiful home, beautiful neighborhood, lots of peace and quiet. Owner Karen really went all out to make sure our stay was peaceful and comfortable. I especially loved the kitchen (equipped with high-tech equipment), which opened up to the living room, creating an open and spacious place to just hang out. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our little dog, as well. I wish I had taken more pictures, as it was really lovely!It truly was our oasis in the middle of a very chaotic family reunion!

My son, daughter-in-law and 2y/o grandson were coming to Iowa City for my late wife's celebration of life. My home a/c went kaput in the midst of Iowa heat/humidity, so I needed to find someplace cool for them to stay. This property fit the "cool" description literally and figuratively...wonderful a/c and a beautiful home. Everything seemed "newish", clean and well. maintained. Large yard in a quiet neighborhood. Close to just about everything in the IC area. Responsive owner, easy check-in. Worth the price. A true 10/10

Great Spot Close to Campus

My family and I needed a place to stay for Freshman Orientation at IU and found this sweet home. We were also traveling with our young dog. It was perfect! The neighborhood was great and very walkable. The accommodations were very clean - and easy to find everything we needed. There's a fenced in side yard perfect for our dog to run around while we sat with a cup of coffee in the mornings. It was just a 7-minute drive to anything we needed to do on campus. We'll definitely be staying here again - over the next four years our son goes to school here!

Graduation weekend

We had such a great time celebrating our graduate. It was nice for all of us to be together and enjoy quality time. Everything we needed was available and having Hyvee around the corner made it so much easier. Sad that after 4years we found this place. We definitely will stay again when coming back for a visit. Forgot to mention that our fur babies especially enjoyed the enclosed fenced yard. T

Great service and was very accommodating

Karen was a fantastic host! I booked this stay for business colleagues traveling with their infant and grandmother, and she went above and beyond to accommodate them. She graciously allowed an early check-in to align with the baby’s nap schedule, making their arrival much smoother. Karen was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!
