Bienvenido a una maravillosa escapada por un fin de semana o más cerca del Point Reyes National Seashore. Encaramado en una ladera entre madrones y robles, esta hermosa casa con un plano de planta abierta con vistas a la bahía de Tomales con vistas a las colinas al norte de Pt. Reyes Station. We spent a rainy long weekend in Point Reyes that might have been very disappointing if it hadn’t been for the beautiful views of the bay afforded by the many large windows. The space had many sleeping options and there were plenty of spaces to hang out in. The kitchen, while small is very well appointed (no dishwasher just in case that matters to you) but plenty of pots and pans and knives to cook with which is a lot of what we did since we were stuck inside and a lovely long dining room table to eat at. Lots of good art to look at as well. Communication with the host was easy and gracious.

Friends Reunion and Inauguration Boycott

We like this house and this is our second stay. It's not fancy but everything works. Just a few things would make it easier and safer for older (68-75) guests. Brighter lighting inside and out. The shower in the upstairs bathtub needs hand rails, or at least a slip mat, and the water is mostly going down the drain instead of into the showerhead. It would be very easy to slip in that tub and there's nothing to hold onto. A decently SHARP veggie cutting knife would be very welcome. More dishtowels for drying! Otherwise everything was great! Thank you very much.

Gorgeous property, but recommend for warmer temperatures!

The house and the property are absolutely stunning! The view is beautiful in the house is just as much so on the inside. The only thing I would say is that we came in the winter time and we were cold most of the time. I recommend this property during warmer temperatures where the house will be warmer and the Balconies usable.

Gorgeous views

This house is a gem overlooking gorgeous Tomales Bay. I could have looked out the window for hours. It was a great setting for a work retreat with two co-workers. And the beds are very comfy!

Beautiful House in the Forest

We had a wonderful stay in Inverness. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with easy access to hiking and the town. The house was clean, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of Tomales Bay from the deck. We’ll definitely be back!

Great Vacation Spot!

Three college chums in our 70’s thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to the wonders of Point Reyes. When we were done sight seeing, we sat back in the comfy deck chairs and soaked up the view of Tomales Bay. The location is quiet- completely surrounded on three sides by woods. The host responded promptly to our emailed questions. We would go again in a heart beat,

Great get-a-way overlooking Tomales Bay

Comfortable, cozy house - plenty of room, yet intimate at the same time. AMAZING views of Tomales Bay and the surrounding hills. Close to so much - Point Reyes National Seashore, the local villages, and so much more. Enjoyed it a lot, and would stay again.

Great location and house!

We loved this house and would return in a second. We had hoped for great weather but found ourselves there during a pretty strong storm that lasted most of our weekend there. The house was perfect for staying indoors, most especially for storm watching. There's a great view from the front room and we took advantage of watching beautiful sun rises, wonderful clouds and even did some bird watching. In between we headed to Point Reyes for a few, lucky us, short but dry walks. The kitchen is well stocked - a bit tiny for more than one cook but we worked it out. Great set up if you had kids with you but there is not much yard for them if you need to occasionally kick them out of the house. Truly enjoyed our time there; the hosts made if very easy to do so! Easy check in; easy check out. I probably missed it, but only street parking available and a bit of a downhill walk to the front door. Not difficult, but something to consider if you have someone who doesn't walk well.

Comfy stay with beautiful view

What a great location! We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was in quiet area on a hill, The house was lovely. It has large windows in main room great views of Tomales Bay. The main deck was great place for morning coffee. There are 2 main bedrooms downstairs, while also have sleeping areas in loft sections upstairs. And there are additional sleeping areas, couches that turn into beds. There were just two of us, but would be great for families or friends traveling together. We loved all the seating options in the living room, enjoyed the tv nook area. Liked the Bluetooth stereo option. Kitchen was well supplied. Really appreciated having laundry facilities. The house was a great place to base out of for cycling and hiking in and around Pt Reyes. Favorite food options nearby, Inverness Park Market, has a great deli with tasty sandwiches and sides. Also have the Taproom restaurant. Closer is the Saltwater restaurant in Inverness. It wasn’t open this trip they were on holiday, but we have eaten there before, would definitely recommend it. Additional food, shopping options are not far away in Pt Reyes and Olema. Owners of the house, very nice, easy to connect with via texting. We loved our stay at the house, would definitely recommend it.

Sisters reunion

Front deck looking over Tomales Bay was a winner, especially for a full moon rising. Coziness of various sitting areas worked well for us. We enjoyed the variety of outdoor activities Point Reyes offers, including Saturday’s Farm Market.

Super comfortable home, with great view

We all agreed we would want to buy this house if we could. There were only three of us but the house would be well-suited to two families. The kitchen is very well-outfitted, with everything functioning properly. If you tend to wake up with first light, you might consider bringing eyeshades as the window coverings are minimal.

Great getaway cabin!

Clarissa's place is an architectural gem, full of interesting art and furniture, as well as great views of the woods and the bay. The front and back decks are quiet places to have coffee or a glass of wine, and we saw deer passing through almost every day. The house is ideally located to explore the National Seashore, and is a 10 minute walk from a beach on the bay. There are several great restaurant options within 10 minutes. Would love to come back!

Perfect location for Point Reyes National Seashore

We loved the uniqueness of the home and the views of Tomales Bay were perfect. It is super easy to get Point Reyes Station and Point Reyes National Seashore from this house. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Relaxing in Tomales Bay

This is a great property that we will visit again. Lots of sleeping options, wonderful place to gather with family and friends and actually be together. Table is large enough to host the number of guests staying at this home. Brand new grill just off the kitchen for ease of BBQ'ing and not having to go far with the food. Views out of every window including the bay. Decks galore with seating to chill and enjoy the views. Located in the heart of things, so never have to drive far to reach all the popular sites to visit. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows and linens. Not your run of the mill hotel like place to stay, instead you will be welcomed to a warm, cozy home with fun decorations that you will discover throughout your stay. The host was also very responsive, helpful and provided any necessary information.
