Our second time here for a weekend of fishing. Great place. Great location. Although were were just around in the evenings it’s a great place to warm up and is setup well with everything you need. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Second stay here at the Northern Retreat! We had an incredible time relaxing. Took advantage of the location as it seemed like it 20 to 30 minutes from all the great Northern towns. Super friendly people at the local restaurants and stores. Met some great people! Looking forward to staying again!

What a wonderful stay. House was roomy, clean and well equipped. Melissa was a delight to work with, very responsive. Perfect location and well appointed. Will def be back to stay again when traveling to northern Michigan!

Was a beautiful place to stay and the host was amazingly responsive to any calls that we made any questions that we had. It is a place that I will go to again. If you want a beautiful cozy little place with beautiful flowers this is a place to stay And you can’t ask for better host than the people that we had.

Wonderful. Many extras like... beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen well supplied for cooking needs, coffee, great grill, nice fire pit with chairs and roasting sticks. Enjoyed the back deck every morning and evening for meals. Plenty of towels. Really enjoyed our stay. Love the area and plan to be back.

This was a great home and stay! Location was wonderful with easy walk to the lake. Kitchen and home were well stocked with everything you would need and more. Water pressure in shower and kitchen sink were was low. Mattresses were okay. Host was kind and communicative.

This host goes over & beyond to make your stay perfect!! We arrived and were ecstatic to see the home was even more spacious than we thought (including the backyard/patio) on top of the cute & quant vibes. Not to mention cleanliness! If you want a spot to stay that checks all the boxes, this is it! We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Thank you Melissa for the welcome sign when we arrived & all the extra details you thought of like a fun popcorn night, extra toothbrushes, xtra paper towel, beach chairs etc etc! I could go on & on! It’s the little things that make stays like this just so much fun. By far one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at yet!!
