Excellent boutique hotel

Comfortable bed. Great location. Nice balcony overlooking harbor. Pet friendly. Complimentary wine and cheese, along with lemonade, coffee or hot chocolate nightly. Comfortable library to enjoy reading or meeting other guests. Heated pool. Firepit lit each night. Continental breakfast every morning. Sandy is truly the heart and soul of the property. She meets, greets, checks guests in, serves as bellman, concierge and hostess. She is a gem. Our only issue was the toilet wouldn't stop running. The parts were not readily available to repair. Sandy offered to move us to another room, but we declined. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

My husband and I and pet enjoyed our stay in Hyannis at the Anchor. The staff was truly exceptional - from front desk to house keeping. One felt at home in the common areas - kitchen, gathering room, sitting areas with views of the harbor, as well as pool area. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the gas fire pit in the evenings. Proximity to downtown and restaurants was ideal and travel was so much easier in September than peak summer months. Most areas of the Anchor have been updated, but we were given a king room with a partial harbor view and a small balcony in the wing that has not been. The bathroom is in need of renovation; it is small and dated without proper safety features.

Rapid river on Atlantis is a must

We experienced all the attractions on our own time without being rushed or hurried. It was relaxing. All the restaurants choices gave us many different atmosphere to reconnect while having dinner. Wish there were more seafood restaurants.

What a gem!!!! This was a wonderful stay for a family of three. I will definitely return!!! I didn't want the vacation to end. The location is a huge plus. The location was great and in walking distance to everything. The breakfast is almost all pre-packaged food. That was disappointing. The room was ok. I expect extremely clean rooms and was disappointed that when I moved the table and a few items , there were ketchup stains that had not been cleaned. I cleaned it and said nothing to the family. The woman who greeted us the first night was extremely friendly . Her name was Mary😊
