We were quite pleased with our room at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Huntsville. The reason we did not give them a 10 is as follows: - the commode (toilet) was the lowest we've ever come across in all our travels... no grab bars to help either! - grab bars would also be helpful in the shower We are seniors and safety features are becoming more and more important to prevent slips/falls. Safety features to prevent possible injuries have become increasingly important to us!

The rooms have the look of being "a little tired" and in need of a remodel. The shower head was absolutely horrible - hardly any pressure and you could not make adjustments.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and made checking in and out a breeze. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the property felt very safe. I slept great every night and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Reservations were made well in advance and I did not know that I was going to be in need of a “accessible“ room. I called the day before our reservation and Aram understood my situation and immediately offered to block out a disability access room. When we arrived, we were given a close by accessible room, and as I was wheeled into the room by my husband, the clerk on duty immediately offered and wheeled our luggage directly to our room. Both Aram and the other young men were very courteous and helpful.
