This VRBO near Huntington Station is a gem that made our time on Long Island a true retreat. The home is remarkably restful and comfortable, with soft sofas, open space for family time in the downstairs area, and individual temperature control in the bedrooms. Meticulous attention to interior details also sets the VRBO apart. The main living space was a haven of nostalgic charm, featuring a luxurious Scrabble board, a working vinyl record player, and interesting coffee table books about old New York. We especially loved the vintage Brownie camera displayed in the glass coffee table. we loved the owner's entertainment choices, including a collection of classic shows on Amazon Prime, like the Hitchcock series and The Andy Griffith Show. The kitchen was stocked with a thoughtful and fun array of accessories, from a plethora of different cups and bowls to perfect oven mitts and a huge fridge and freezer that made it easy to feel at home. The full-sized washer and dryer also were a welcome convenience. The location is excellent, just a short walk from a grocery store and the LIRR station, yet the home itself is remarkably quiet.Altogether, this VRBO provided the ideal blend of restful quietude, thoughtful accessories, and practical amenities. It was the perfect home base for our Long Island visit and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and unique stay.

Lovely, well-appointed home

What an incredible place! We absolutely loved staying at this well-appointed home! Clean, with the engaging and eclectic decor of people who appreciate the arts. The books and prints are just lovely. Incredibly comfortable beds (especially the king) and a well-kept backyard with landscaping that enhanced the peacefulness of the location. Amy could not have been a better communicator--so accommodating and helpful. We loved it and will return when we're in the area visiting family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was absolutely perfect—convenient to everything we needed to do in Huntington. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. Thanksgiving Back Home

Great place where we got to be close to family in Huntington. The home felt homey and was very comfortable for our us to stay in with other family members from out of town. It’s close to many things, especially the LIRR. I would highly recommend making this part of your stay on Long Island.

Great family home

We had a wonderful home away from home stay at Evergreen. We were visiting from the UK for a family wedding in Huntington and the house was a cosy escape and great location. Easy access to train station for a day trip to the city, lots of space in the house for adults and kids and a lovely back garden. We did get noise from trains at night but otherwise the area was very quiet and residential. Thank you Amy for a lovely stay.

Retreat for an Out of State Wedding

If you ever need to travel to the Huntington Station area for a wedding or other multi day event, this is the place to go. We were close to the church, the rehearsal dinner, and the reception. Unlike staying at a hotel, it was the perfect place to unwind between events. Comfortable beds, places to kick back and relax, and a nice backyard area as well. We would return if we need to stay in the area again.
