Room and general area was good. Hallway and stairs look old and not kept up. Staff was not very helpful. We forgot an item in the room and called to ask them to keep it until the next day when we would pick it up; we got there the next day and they did not have the item and didn't seem to care.

Room was small and basic, BUT perfectly clean, abundant hot water (no tub), warm (our stay was in December), friendly helpful staff, AND overnight snow was cleared from parking lot and access road in time for our 6AM departure. In other words, no frills but everything we needed.
