Courteous, clean, but didn't sleep well
The staff were friendly and helpful. The parking situation is a little bit odd - one elevator to get into the parking garage and other elevators are to get to your rooms; it wasn't too hard to figure out once you are there. There were several problems with my room - door knob was falling off, cracked stove top, still writing on the tile and shower from when they initially installed everything. My biggest issue with the design of the single king style room is that the air conditioner blows STRAIGHT on your face where you are sleeping. I did not get very good sleep trying to figure out the balance of keeping the room cool without it freezing my face. Second night I was there someone left their dog in their room and he/she was barking for over three hours with that time stretching past midnight. I called the front to report this and they said they would take care of it but I just ended up putting in ear plugs and turning up my sound machine to get to sleep.

The property was good but the service was not as was expected. We stayed 3 days (2nights) and the room was not cleaned, or changed or brought new towels and no one removed the trash in both the room or bathroom, that was very bad. No value for the money spent, unfortuanetly

Hyatt House is a 2 minute drive to MD Anderson Cancer Center. It is a clean, friendly, safe place to stay while I’m in town for appointments there. This past was my third visit and will be my first choice for my next. We’ve not eaten dinner there, but have enjoyed the generous included breakfast.
