Lovely place, perfect for our 1 night stay with beautiful views. Great food, very friendly staff who were so lovely and comfortable room. A 5 min drive into Holmfirth. We'll definitely be back.

The property is set in a rural location but is a blend of modern and traditional buildings. Spotless with brilliant staff throughout. Food was outstanding. Bedrooms are very clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds. Genuinely cannot fault any part of this stay. Most certainly will be back. Loved it!

Great stay.

Very nice homely country pub with good food and Local brewery (Nook), excellent views and easy reach of Holmfirth (we did get a taxi for the nearly 2 miles / 10 mins journey). Will definitely be staying again when we visit the Picturedrome again.

Horrible night sleep

Not clean and bed too small. No shampoo or soap. People chatting until earlier hours. A dog running up and down the corridor. The bed was a three quarter not a double. The bed mattress was horrible and stained. Never stay here again!

The room was modern and spotlessly clean, although compact; kettle, beverages, hairdryer and ironing board provided, along with a good supply of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. A slight downside was that the rear access (fire escape) and kitchen extractor system were right outside our window, so a bit noisy in the late evening and early morning. However, this was more than compensated for by the friendly, helpful staff, who really did cheerfully provide for all our needs.
