This is a very quaint motel. It was super clean. The employees were courteous. It is very well maintained. As a vintage motel location this was a bit of a stepping back in history experience. The property looks like it got a very thorough renovation at some point in the not too distant past. All the appointments and fixtures were recent or were in super good shape. The walls look like the sheetrock was even replaced because of the lack of multiple layers of paint that you would expect on a property this old. We enjoyed our stay at the Carolina Motel.

First - you can’t beat the Customer Service / Staff. We come back every time we are near for that reason. Love that it is a smaller motel. Very clean, park in front of your FIRST floor room - well maintained.

The gentleman running the place was very pleasant and helpful. Very business friendly, he named all the eating places in the surrounding area also. Parking was available right in front of your room, which is nice. The rooms were clean and stocked. If you needed anything he was quick to get it. I would definitely stay there again!
