The studio is just 12klm from the Heraklion City airport/ harbour and also only 3klm away from the Planetarium/ Dinosaur Park, Cretaquarium and Watercity -Waterpark. The famous Knossos Palace antiquities are 12klm and there is also a regular bus service from a stop only 50metres from the property connecting visitors to all places on the island. The property lies 100metres opposite from one one of the resort many long fine sandy beaches. There are a great choice of local bakeries, supermarkets/shops,excellent local restaurants and tavernas as well as dry cleaning facilities and pharmacies all with immediate vicinity and the multilingual owners are available to offer information and assistance with anything you need including car hire, excursions or airport transfers. There is a kettle, toaster, cooking rings, oven, fridge/freezer, cooking utensils for making simple meals and the apartment is serviced by a cleaner three times per week with changes of towels (twice per week) and linen (once per week). Beach umbrellas are provided also free of charge upon request.
