Enjoy a 3 bed 2.5 bath mountain home with spectacular views of the rock bald and reedy patch creek below. House features two large decks and a patio. Three private bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. A large basement includes a pool table, second living room and a set of bunkbeds. The dining room feels suspended in the trees and provides great birdwatching opportunities. Open layout of the kitchen and living room area allows everyone to gather around for meals, catch a sunrise, or watch the fog roll over the river. Five minute drive to Chimney Rock State Park and Lake lure area. Large fire pit area at bottom of the property sits beside the creek and provides a great place to gather and cook smores. 20 minute drive to Downtown Hendersonville. 30 min drive to Asheville. House has 5 TVs with multiple channels. High speed Wifi. Washer and dryer. Air conditioning and heat.

We had a great stay in Bat Cave. It was the perfect location for us to travel between Chimney Rock and Gerton daily. The rooms were as described and just what we needed for 4 people to stay comfortably. We unfortunately didn't get to use alot of the amenities because the weather was bad or we were just too tired from our mission trip, but the place had a working kitchen, patios, fire pit and pool table that would have been amazing to use. The house is very big, complete with the laundry room, which we did use. Was a little hard to find. Had to have a local help us because GPS couldn't get us all the way there. Kenny is very responsive and easy to work with. A for the trip.

Thank you for sharing your home with my family. We enjoyed the views and the close proximity to the river. We didn’t utilize the fire pit area, but it looked very nice. Property was as advertised, clean and functional. Close to where we needed to be and in a very quiet area. We drive a two-weel drive Suburban and I did find the state-maintained access road to the property a bit difficult but functional. I would rent this property again.
