The place was amazing. It has an old world charm but the bed was extremely comfy. I had the most amazing sleep. Plus an amazing continental breakfast. Yum. Well worth a visit or to do a wedding ceremony there. They also have the 3 beautiful and loving big dogs that walk around with the native animals. The dogs are so gentle. The peacocks and other birds are amazing The ocean can be seen from the property but it us only a short walk to a beautiful beach that a lot of people walk their dogs. Love to go again

Our stay at Hawley House was one of the most superb we can remember anywhere. Sophie was very welcoming and obliging - an all-round excellent hostess. Quality accommodation in well-cared-for but still very warm and homely environment. Fantastic views and easy access to both bush and beach make Hawley House very hard to beat. The grounds are amazing! Lake, garden, flowers, amazing beach, mountains, view, sunrise, birds. The owner takes very great care of the guests. Bonus: bathtub on the roof! What could be improved: property could use some upgrades.
