Unattended and locked reception area. Had to phone hotel multiple times to get a staff member to check me in. Poor attitude from staff. Broken shower head and dirty cupboards and mirror. Apart from that, the hotel was alright.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice accommodation but quite small. The beds were comfortable, the shower, TV and heating worked quite well. We found it difficult to understand why they supplied a kettle but no crockery etc.

No dining at the restaurant due to chef being unwell, I don't think restaurant has been used in a while. We should have been informed before our Free cancel date as this is why we booked specifically to use their dining and not have to find somewhere else after travelling. Arrived to book in and front reception was closed had to ring, was told she would be 5 minutes, was actually on premises but said she had someone stalking her? Others were also waiting and rang. No toilet paper in room was told it was an upgrade room, rubbish, it was old noisy no microwave if you wanted to bring in food to reheat, no plates or cutlery. Shower base leaked causing almost a fall on entry, advised the owner said I didn't turn the taps hard enough. It was not leaking from the taps, my husband is a plumber...Will not ever recommend this place to anyone. Was very disappointing.

Room was clean, beds comfy. Only issue we had was the shower head sprayed a fine mist of water everywhere and probably needs replacing, the shower curtain was useless dripping water everywhere & constantly stuck to you. Otherwise, cheap accom for weary travellers! We stayed in winter so it was very quiet- has a pool if you’re there in warmer weather.
